Thanks for the flash-enabled skin setting tidbit... that fixed the counter display.
The clock is off exactly one hour here. I'm on EDT time and my clock is properly set.
The countdown claculation is based on Greenwich mean time (Zulu time) and if your computer clock is set up properly (time and time zone) then the countdown should be correct. Unfortunately since Europe changed back to winter time last weekend it adds more problems since we noticed already last year that some time servers do not switch from summer daylight saving correctly.
Anyway check your computer's time settings and it shouldn't be more than 1 hour off (in theory...)
Whether you see the countdown or not depends on the skin you've selected. Flash enabled skin will show the countdown, default will not. It is however true (and strange) that sometimes settings for the two afddresses are stored separately - which it shouldn't.

As I said if your settings are correct and the clock is one hour off then it has probably to do with your local time server not being aware of the daylight change in Europe. Last year the problem fixed itself after the US also switched back to winter time - so I'm guessing it's the same this year.
Weird. I just tried both Apple Americas (time.apple.com) and Apple Euro (time.euro.apple.com). Still showing it off by an hour in both cases.
Don't worry though, in 5 hours nobody will care either way...
EDIT: And BTW, the Forum's posts actually do show the correct time. I would expect those to be off also if the DST setting would be off...
Yeah, I figured it was something we could blame on those damn farmers. Seems like daylight savings is late this year; it's on Halloween night.
It is weird and it was confusing last year as well - as I said when the US switched as well it resolved itself. I know it's not logical but here it is.
I've tweaked a setting in the animation and it's still showing the correct time for me. Has it made a difference for you?
Yep, mine shows correct now. 5 and a half hours to go.
Still showing 6:24:xx, when it should be 5:24:xx...
Cool! Hopefully this new setting will also work next year
El Nono did you force a full reload (Ctrl F5 in firefox)?
Try refreshing again. Mine eventually came up right.
You're right... cleared the cache and all is well now...![]()
Just did an empty cache on Safari and it reloaded it now... working good!
Good job!
You the man, Slomo. Thanks for all the work you do for all of us.![]()
