I hope to I see Dyess for more minutes
Bulls with 10 off rebs, 19pts.
If we improve our reb in the 2nd half we'll win
I hope to I see Dyess for more minutes
I'm gonna ring Pop's neck if he doesn't stop using this goddamned small ball lineup.
"Oh they have 19 second chance points?"
"Yeah, I wonder how that happened..."
"Couldn't be the fact our PF position is being played by Michael Finley, could it?"
"NAAAA, lets keep all of our great new bigs on the bench and just hope things work out. We have to have Fin on the court...He's the Franchise.'
yeah the line-up was terrible. that's on Pop. but the hustle needs to come from the players.
Bulls got all the bounces and we're only down by 1 right now.
ing small ball... When we don't rebound we look pathetic out there... I don't understand what's so hard to understand...
No. We would get killed on the fast break not matching the Bulls lineup.
PG: Derrick Rose
SG: Kirk Hinrich
SF: John Salmons
PF: Luol Deng
C: Joakim Noah
That was their lineup. Deng was killing it before Jefferson was placed at the 4.
That or hitting the wine.![]()
The Bulls were using a smaller lineup, too, so that's why Pop had a small ball lineup in there.
The Spurs need to rebound much better than they are, especially on the defensive end. Also, their defensive rotations on the perimeter are subpar. The Bulls are getting way too many easy shots.
This is Pops way of introducing the new players to Pop speak. You don't hustle and go get the ball he will sit you down and play a shooting guard at power forward.
pop needs to play blair and tim at the same time and quit acting like a freaking idiot with his lover finley. i thought finley did ok last night but man is he showing his age tonight!! we need either td and blair or td and dice for the second half
I think I'll wait and judge Blair vs Noah after the beast has been around for another year or so. I do know this, Noah is a bit of a prima-donna, and I don't think that at ude would fly with Pop
19 second chance points.... I wonder that the record for most second chance points in a NBA game, and I'm actually very serious.
Spurs shooting well, Bulls shooting crappy, equal foul shots. Just the rebounding, mainly offensively.
you mean the student is out smarting the teacher![]()
Slow down the tempo, transition D, and no more small ball... go big... they have no answer for TD... If we make it a fast game we're playing to their strength...
this B2B excuse doesn't fly.... nobody played more than 25 minutes yesterday!
I think it's more of an issue with the tempo. although bulls aren't getting good shots off initially, they're stretching us defensively and once we lose our shape, the boards are there for the team who wants it more.
ill go out on a limb and say that if the Spurs win, so will the Nuggets. If the Spurs lose, so will the Nuggets, so go Spurs!
Maybe the Hornets just made the Spurs look better than they really are? lol
Ginobili!!!! -Charles Barkley
This is not an indictment on Blair. Blair is an excellent player, but as far as what this Spurs team needs and how much each guy would play, Noah would be much better.
He would no doubt be the starter.
exactly! WE play the Bulls game. Thats their style and they are much better at it.
Also you can't really counter small ball with 30+ in age small players...
I've been watching him too, and he's a third tier athletic center... I don't know exactly what you mean that he has proven... that he belongs to the NBA? Possibly. But not much more than that.
Man, the Spurs are playing ty and we're only down by 1. This is our worst keeping up with some of the Bulls' best lol.
Blair looked like he was out of it, which is understandable since it's his first time traveling in a back 2 back and the game is pretty early.
Mason has impressed me, he is soooo much faster than last year. His defense has improved greatly thanks to his hard work.
Duncan is looking pretty damn good, his D so far is looking solid while his offense is looking great.
Hill's Defense has also impressed me, he was doing a pretty good job guarding Rose.
Manu's not back to his old self yet, but he sure is getting there.
Well you can have your opinion on his abilities and fit next to Duncan, and I can have mine. He has proven himself in the NBA as a player, in the playoffs against tough compe ion and will certainly play more minutes and contribute more than Blair.
LOL at saying he "possibly" belongs in the NBA. He is not Dwight Howard, but he is a solid player that DEFINITELY belongs.
