Mason has impressed me, he is soooo much faster than last year. His defense has improved greatly thanks to his hard work.
Really? We must be watching different games. Granted, Salmons is a tough cover.

    2nd half..

-Duncan needs the ball more, slow it down..a lot of post-ups..the Bulls are going to double-team, and if they don't, he's already shown he's going to score most of the time..

-A lot of 2-man between Parker and Duncan..Rose can't keep up with TP, and Duncan is doing his thing..I loved the high post action with Timmy, that play with TP is always money..

-Don't let Finley guard Salmons or Deng anymore..Deng is getting open Js just rising over him all day, and Salmons is penetrating by him at will..

    -Obviously more effort on rebounding..

Mason has played well defensively IMO..he hasn't really covered Salmons 1 on 1 much in this game though..he played great D on Pargo, and he's rotated well..he's moving a lot better than Finley..

Yup. Pretty simple. Duncan gets it every time and Spurs make a better effort to grab those missed shots they are forcing.

I think the Spurs are taking the Bulls best shot. I trust Pop to make adjustments and counter whatever lineup the Bulls put out there in the second half.

Think we'll see more Timmy and a slower tempo. Force the Bulls into more of a half-court game.

Timmy has a +/- of +13 so far.

The Spurs need to play half-court offense again. They need to take their time and set it up.

    More rebounds please.

Well you can have your opinion on his abilities and fit next to Duncan, and I can have mine. He has proven himself in the NBA as a player, in the playoffs against tough compe ion and will certainly play more minutes and contribute more than Blair.

LOL at saying he "possibly" belongs in the NBA. He is not Dwight Howard, but he is a solid player that DEFINITELY belongs.
I think he has proven he's an NBA player. Not much more than that. He has zero offense, and his defense is questionable at best. I'm sure he'll play more minutes than Blair...

This is not an indictment on Blair. Blair is an excellent player, but as far as what this Spurs team needs and how much each guy would play, Noah would be much better.

He would no doubt be the starter.
So you're saying after 1.5 games that the savior of the Spurs is a guy who has averaged less than 7 ppg and less than 7 rpg for his NBA career.

I lol'd. Noah is a starting center for a possible playoff team. The team that took the C's to 7. How does he NOT belong in the NBA?

Noah has been pretty good evertime I have seen him. But Blair has a of alot more potintial to be a defference maker type of player.

Questionable defense? Now I can tell you don't watch him.

No, I am saying a guy who averaged 10 PTS, 13 REBS, on 51% FG and 76% FT with 2 BLKS per game against the Celtics in the playoffs would have more of an impact than Blair. Spurs are in win now mode, hence, I would take Noah over Blair.

    Blair's in trouble

Dyess+Blair as 2nd quad seems too short or something. But you can't blame them coz it's a b2b away game.

The back-to-back minutes aren't the issue here..the travel AND the game yesterday would be the issues..

I don't buy it as an excuse either though, I'm just saying..we should still win..
