Yeah, those 5 shots Finley took really killed the Spurs tonight. What a ball hog.
Duncan, Parker, Ginobli, Jefferson, Bonner, and Hill all took more shots than Finley. And Finley only took one more shot than Mason and McDyess.

28 minutes with only 5 shots "take" when you are there to score, and only score. I think you might have missed the point.
I guess I am missing the point. I only saw Finley pass up two shots otherwise I thought he played within the offense.
2-5 shooting looks much better than 2-11 but then people would have ed about that too.

Why so vehemently defend finley? At least the other players brought something. If their shot wasnt falling they brought defense, hustle, or passing.
Finleys shot wasnt falling, he got the most minutes, and he hurt on defense, didnt bring any other intangibles.
The loss was a loss, finley or not. However, wouldnt it make more sense to play a young guy, or someone new to give them experience? I mean we stuck with a guy thats older than dirt and made it 4 on 5 the whole game instead of giving any of the new or young guys some burn.
