Easy there Rumpshakerballa.
They didn't even have Deng Llast year!!! its like everyone forgot about him. Rose is a top 5 PG...filthy. Heinrich and Miller off the bench. Gibson off the bench has a HUGE motor. Noah....hate him all you want (I DO) is a good defensive player and GREAT rebounder. Thomas has REALLY improved his jumper. They have a lot of talent.
Easy there Rumpshakerballa.
lol @ name
them and the wizards tho..goin battle it out for 4/5 spots...both will have better records than ATL...as long as they stay healthy..
Yeah, smart fans realize that. This is aimed at Spurfan dip that starts a lol Mavs thread the 25-30 times a year we* lose a game.
* Yeah, I used the word "we" when referring to the Mavs. No, I don't play for the team or work in the front office. ing deal with it.
Yeah I don't doubt they will be in the mix, I'm just not ready to say Rose is a Top 5 PG yet. I'll give you Top 10 tho.
There's CP3 and Deron. Who are these other 3 guys that supplant Rose in the top 5?
CP3
Deron
TP?
Arenas?
Harris?
Rondo?
Nash?
Billups?
Who else is better. TP you cna def. make a case for. Arenas WHEN healthy you can make a case for. None of the other guys you can this year. Rose is RIGHT there without a doubt....and ONLY going to get better.
Rondo..he's the best defensive PG in the game
Id easily put Rose in top 5.
CP3
Deron
Billups
TP
Rose
Arenas has gotta show me he can kill someone other than a 3'6 JJ Barea, and stay healthy. He could move up to 3.
Rondo better than Rose?!?! We will agree to disagree! And Rose is NO SLOUCH on D...
No way Billups is above Rose this year IMO. He has slowed down the past year and a half. Still clutch but Rose is bbetter IMO. TP I think I would take over Rose this year as well.

Rose is not quite there yet but barring injuries he will be just as good as CP3 and Deron. He is a budding franchise player. You can't say that about Rondo or TP. They aren't and never will be franchise players.
Yeah right, Final MVP doesn't count.
No, it doesn't. He's never been the best player on a team that won a championship, and he never will be. Ask the Cavs who they were worried about most in that series. It wasn't Parker.
All Star? Most definitely yes.
Franchise player? Most definitely not.
The last team to have two franchise players were the Lakers, circa 1997-2004.
I hated that Parker got that Finals MVP because Mike Brown decided to be an idiot and never drop his gameplan of letting Parker beat them and zoning in on Duncan.
The Bulls defense is really good, which says good things about Timmy since he played well. The Spurs deserved to get their asses handed to them tonight. They were probably reading all about how great they were instead of resting up for the Bulls.
A. The Bulls didn't miss any shots. They drained jumpers all night - even Tyrus thomas was hitting jump shots. Read that again...Tyrus Thomas was hitting jump shots. So you know it's Chicago's night.
B. The young Bulls played like they all had five bumps of speed before the tip-off. Somehow they were able to maintain control at that pace. It didn't hurt that Pop played the two slowest players in the NBA for almost 30 minutes each -- Bonner and Finley.
C. The Spurs see all kinds of young teams give them their best shot an play over their heads, so this is nothing new.
D. Pop always waves the white flag on back to backs. I hate it, but he's always been that way.
Sounds a lot like us against Washington exept it was:
The Wizards didn't miss any shots. They drained jumpers all night - even Andre Blatche was hitting jump shots. Read that again...Andre Blatche was hitting jump shots. So you know it's Washingtons night.
So I have sympathy.
Yep... your right. As long as Matt Bonner and Michael Finley are starting and playing 25+ minutes, then i honesty cant expect much more than a 55 win pace, and second round, MAYBE WCF playoff exit at the most - its as simple as that. No team is going to win a championship having two guys like that playing a role where the team relies on your production to win a game.
Spurs just flat out sucked tonight... they made the Mavs look like the Celtics with their effort and desire.
Yeah, the Bulls were scorching with there 41% shooting, and their 3 of 16 from down town.
I agree with you somewhat, but you cant compare Rondo and Parker - TP is by far the superior player.
To me, Rose is more Parker than CP3 or Williams. His game will always be more about scoring than it will be about assisting and playmaking, which might make it a little more difficult for him to be that CP3 or Williams type franchise guy who you build a team around. Gilbert Arenas is another guy that comes to mind when i think of D-Rose.
To me, i rate Parker just behind Deron, but only ever so slightly - mainly because I think you can probably build your team around Deron a little bit easier given his style of play, so i guess that makes him slightly more franchisish. And CP3 is a clear number 1 for me...
Its kind of like the Duncan - Dirk comparison, if you take defense out of the equation. Dirk is the better offensive player/scorer, much like Parker is compared to Deron, but Duncan's style of game is much easier to build your team around...
So i agree with what you said, excect that you dont give Parker anywhere near enough credit for the player that he is. He is the clear cut number 3 PG in the league for me, and still a superior player to Rose (for the time being).
