I won one game of Monopoly against a couple of friends back when I was like 12....it took forever...has anyone ever finished a game of monopoly?

Me and the GF play it on our iphones and can share a game especially when Im out of town. Its kinda cool. Never do finish a game like the OP said, damn thing takes forever.

When we play Monopoly, we almost always finish. It takes several hours but I can't imagine not playing it out.
I like to be the shoe or the guy on the horse.
I'm always the car.
And I've finished almost every game of Monopoly I've played, but I'm usually long past over it by about hour four. I get to a certain point where I just start selling to get out of the game sooner.
I always lose at monopoly. I like going after the railroads. Never works out for me.
Utilities is where the big money is...
I love to be the shoe too! It's my favorite. We pretty much always finish a game because I play against my kids, and since they don't know the game as well as I do I can finish them off pretty quick.I like to be the shoe or the guy on the horse.
I usually finish games when I play. I've won once. One time in my entire life. Usually I start strong but somewhere around the middle of the game I nosedive. I love that game.
My friends an I used to finish it all the time. We would each put ten dollars up and whoever wins gets the pot. The game was so much more fun that way.
Damn, that does sound like fun...
If we ever have a GTG again, I vote that be something we do.

I thought we were the only people in the world that still played old school games. Our favorite is "Upwords"...I don't even know if they make it anymore...it's like three dimensional scrabble.
i have scrabble on my phone. it kills the time quite well. i love all the old board games.
None of my friends play em however so it sucks

Sorry dude. I've been playing a little rough. Actually you one up me since you go to GTG's. I haven't been to one in over 5 years...
I don't think I've been to one since Game 3 VS the Jazz in 2007.

the xbox version of monopoly is garbage. it doesn't have any online multiplayer.

I have finished many games, probably in triple digits or close to it.
My longest game I think went to about 7 am, playing at my cousin's house when I was about 13 in their 'shed'
Boy was that fun.
I have never played Upwords, but I love Scrabble. We have Scrabble, Boggle, Yahtzee and a few others that are old school cool.
