    Suns 2-0
    Lakers 1-1

That lead's only gonna get bigger.
Incredibly there are only 3 teams in the West and 4 in the East that are still undefeated.

Please.....Pau is the fuking difference for Kobe...for LO.....for the whole team....
True. He's a versatile playmaking big man(kinda like Shaq/Duncan) who opens up the Offense for the Lakers Scrubs, (Sasha, Fischer, Farmar, Lamar, Bynum) and makes their lives easier.

    without Gasol = 2005 to 2007 Lakers.

You can say it's not an excuse, but it is an explanation. Same as Garnett's absence torpedoed the Celtics last year, or Manu's absence sank the Spurs. When two elite teams are playing, if one of the teams is missing one of it's top players, that team is at a disadvantage. it's really that simple.

Good game guys. Props to the Mavs. Pau Gasol wouldn't have made any difference today.
    Thanks dude, good game

Adam Morrison vs. Matt Carroll..battle of the ans..
The announcers were absolutely destroying carroll. Anyone else hear that? Mark Jackson said "If I saw him running up at the YMCA id say "no man, you got next"

He should get some tips from Barea

Alright, now to the game. I gotta admit, I have to eat some major crow here (and happily). I said before the game that the Mavs would lead most of the game, only to chock it away in the 4th (happens everytime agaisnt lake show). So I didnt get my hopes up at all when that started to happen.

But the diference this time was defense and easy baskets. Both of which came in Marion. Great game for him, as he forced a lot of TO's once JJ finally went back to the bench to polish Carilsle off. Also Dirk had a few defensive plays of his own. Gotta give props to Damp too. He had a great game for his standards.

Maybe the Mavs were being serious when they said they were gonna focus on D this year. who knows

Now we gotta focus on the Clips for tomorrow. Dont wanna take a night off. They still got some talent there.

I disagree. Simply for the fact that we've looked SO bad the first two games. Barely beating the Clippers at home on ring night, and then getting blown out at home against the Mavericks? The team collectively looking like they are playing drunk? The Mavs aren't that good, and they didnt even play that good. We just played horrifically worse. A team as strong as LA is supposed to be doesn't wilt with the loss of one player. And in the first two games we have.

Mavs were elite no matter what happened this game. Or at least to the same degree the Cavs, Spurs and Orlando were.

You gotta remember we were w/o Howard. And we still beat them by a pretty good amount. I think we earned this win.

I don't think Gasol would've made a difference. Everybody was off. One of those bad games you would like to forget about it.

    Tsakalidis/Dirk/Battier/Eddie Jones/Chucky Atkins/Miller/B Jackson vs. Pau/Howard/Terry/Diop/Stackhouse/Damp/Harris

Pau would ing sweep that series too.....do you really not agree with this?
That is so ing dense. Pau Gasol is a fine player, but the idea that he is remotely close to Dirk is silly.
