Holy . Great win, Mavs! This is one Spurs fan who won't be talking nonsense about Dallas for awhile: the Mavs played like a bunch of seasoned badasses tonight. (Granted, Lakers played like ass...much like the Spurs performance in Chicago...but hey...)
Oh, and Kidd's cross-court leaping pass to Terry for the open three was pretty God-damned neat.
Loved the defense we played on Kobe. Even if he got by our first guy, there would be another guy waiting for him at the basket to challenge his shot. Happened a lot in the 4th. I think this might be called help defense, but I haven't seen it in so long im not sure.

And gotdamn Derek Fisher sucks. If his shot isnt falling, which it usually isn't, he's completely gotdamn useless. He should be cryogenically frozen and saved for the last 30 seconds of big games and thats it. If it wasn't for those two shots in game 4 vs Orlando he would have had the worst playoffs of anyone in the league but all anyone wants to talk about is his clutch shooting and vet leadership. Vet leadership aint taking dumb shots out of the offense you have no chance of hitting, bricking open shots, and making passes you have no chance of completing.
Fish plays, lead balloons, Shannon comes in, lead goes away, Fish comes back in, lead balloons again. Mother , Phil, it isnt that hard to see.

Shannon Brown is a beast. He should get more minutes than Farmar and Vuja but together.

I thought I was the only person that noticed that tonight. I don't know but I would say Ian,Hairston,Haislip,>Morrison,Walton,Vuja and that is how bad the Lakers bench is.

Mavs aren't elite, they had one good game so far. I'd say they were like Lee when he was pitching wanted to steal a game, which I think they will need to do with many teams this season
I love the new unis... a lot.
Mavs played like a much better team, won handedly. Lakers gotta learn to play together. But we got 80 more games to fix that. Thats that as far as I am concerned.
The Mavs are like 4-33 against the Lakers in L.A. Dumbass. Everyone knows this. Lurk more.

I thank Derek for his clutch shots but the thought of him on the court for the first 47 minutes scares the bejeezus out of me.
And he wants to sign a new contract after this year? *sigh* I'd prefer a move to the coaching staff but loyalty is loyalty, and I refuse to trade him....
Next year, whatever happens this year, Shannon should be the only PG on the roster still in purple and gold out on the court. Fish, Farmar (and Sasha)....it was a nice run, guys, but you're holding the team back. People forget that last year we won the le in spite of the bench and Fisher (mostly). That will not happen again with the improvements of the other teams. Deepest and most talented team my ass.
