Manu's spot on, that's pretty much what it is. Bats are mammals, just like us and mice.
No it's not, just think about it - fresh guano containing the live virus drops onto the floor of a cave and intermingles with the dust, shortly after which it is disturbed by humans, made airborne and inhaled. It could happen, but it's HIGHLY UNLIKELY.
BTW, 97% of human rabies cases come from DOG BITES.

I love what Manu did, but I'm very surprised by the reactions of many people to picking up the bat. Why are people so horrified by bats?
Would this count as an "at bat" in baseball? It certainly was a hit!
By the way, you know its the Kings when they get upstaged by a (now dead) bat.

This was up last night in timvp's thread.
The part I enjoyed most was that the sound guy cued up the music from the old Adam West Batman series while it was flying around.
[NitPick]
actually the organist played the music

Think he feels guilty? If I knocked out a bat in flight with my bare hands I'd request to have it mounted.
Sounds pretty crazy to me.
Didn't Jesse James say Manu had the best boxing skills?
Blair snatches rebounds, not bats.
Meanwhile, the legend of Manu grows.....
The Slideshow has a few pics.

Curse of the Suicidal Bat: Kings Chopped Down By Spurs 113-94
After the death of The Bat, the Spurs outscored the Kings 84-68. You think that's some sort of coincidence?
Great stuff lurker23.
The bat was really a radio-operated drone from the Lakers' scouts.
Holy bat !
