went to pedestrian bridge. got busted as soon as i got there.
There were tons of partys and celebrations, let's hear about them or anything else that happened over the weekend. Pics encouraged.
went to pedestrian bridge. got busted as soon as i got there.
Very boring...trimmed some trees, sprayed some weeds, mowed some grass, then grilled Persian shish-kebobs and made jasmine/dill rice with a wedge salad and watched the UT/OK State game.
I think these guys had a blast!
Bo and I went to the Nightmare on Grayson haunted house-a first time for both of us.
I had a great time. Every time a monster jumped out at me, I stood my ground and told them, grinning, " Aww... you're cute!" Some of the monsters actually thanked me.![]()
I really ticked a few off them off- especially the one who came running at me with a chainsaw.
I just stood my ground as he charged up to me and when he got close enough to me, I told him to shoo.
Bo wanted to know why he paid for me to go to a haunted house if I wasn't going to let myself be scared. I explained to him that the whole reason I love haunted houses because I love taunting the monsters.
I love looking scary things in the face and not flinching.
The bridge in the house was awesome- the one that makes you feel like it is spinning as you walk on it.
The haunted house was great. But the biggest event of the night was when Bo and I exited the attraction and discovered that his truck was gone!!!!!!!
One of the monsters was getting off work and he told us our car was probably stolen. Apparently that happens quite a bit in the neighborhood.
But it turn out a car was towed. A nearby policeman explained that that happens frequently.
Bo and I had parked in an apartment complex and were only parked for an hour total.
Craziness!
I went to a party dressed as a gay Amish man, I'd post a picture but I have a feeling it would end whatever reputation I have on here
Joe Chalupa as Han Solo, CLASSIC!
I stayed home and handed out candy to the kids that came around the neighborhood.
i had all the lights off at my house and if stupid kids came by, i would chomp down on some fake blood capsules, stick my head out of the door, and give them a bug-eyed stare as blood oozed out of my mouth until they walked away
Had a work party at the resort, dressed up as an NFL referee, and like them, was throwing flags all over the place. Snuck upstairs for most of the night and turned the big screen in the lounge onto the Longhorns game and the Spurs game. All in all an uneventful night...good for the Horns and Spurs though.
Cut down some trees, cleared some brush, sized up the local moms, passed out some candy and slept.
sounds like a of a day...good work, my friend.![]()
We went out with the crew to Vegas; trashed up the strip as Jabbawockees.
We went to the Haunted Mansion On The Hill party in Timberwood Park. Easily 500+ people with a long line of cars still waiting to get in when we left.
We went as Bubba-n-Raylene. I was "Miss Texas Trailer Park" complete with tramp-stamp and boob tats. Here is a photo of us....
Nice 2Blonde. The flip flops complete the outfit.
Went out and fought the madness on Sixth Street.
The crowd was enormous. Probably the biggest crowd I've seen out there, and this was my third Halloween on Sixth.
Then again, it was like the perfect storm. Saturday Night, Halloween, Daylight Savings Time, and a big UT win over Oklahoma, possibly the biggest remaining game in Texas' schedule, all combined to turn downtown Austin into a parade of costumes.
Didn't make it to sixth which was in my original plans but the night could not have played out any better. Best halloween ever.
First Halloween in a new neighborhood so we didn't know quite what to expect, so we made about 100 goodie bags. Those were gone in the first 30 minutes.
While I made a mad dash to the already picked-over CVS, User ended up giving out our own personal stash of regular size candy we had just bought at Costco..and almost had to start giving out packs of my gum had I not gotten back when I did.We were almost cleaned out of the new stash, too. That was insane...but I loved it.
Then I went to pick up my daughter and her friend who were freaked out because 1.) they didn't know that the haunted hay ride was going to involve chainsaws and 2.) she was actually listening when her mama told her that she'd rather just come pick her up if her ride has been drinking AND how dangerous it was for there to be more people in the car than seat belts. I don't think there was alcohol involved, but 8 teenagers in a compact car is just not a good idea. I was pretty happy.
Went to sixth street with my girlfriend, took pictures with random people/ And afterwards went to mcdonalds and watched pranked on mtv till like 6 am.
i went to 6th too... dressed up as slater from dazed and confused. i was the only slater around in austin.
Gave out some candy and then watched a movie with my girlfriend.
Passed out way to much candy, then watched my Rockets handle the Blazers.
worked on the ambulance and had 2 transports...both psych calls....ate some of the candy I bought...
Thought for sure I would have had to transport some trauma from a crash or something....
My attorney advised me not to comment publicly about my activities on 10/31/09.
