In some chinese tradition, a man who swatted down a flying object in some important days is considered that he and his family will be very lucky all year.
But i have a question, how was that bat? i mean is it already dead? or still alive?
The reports are confusing...
Manu said when he handed it off that he could still feel it moving and it was just dizzy. Then it came out that the bat had died. Then another release said it wasnt dead and that it flew off.
I think it was alive when Manu handed it off and it either died later from internal injuries or the staff killed it, then they said it just "flew off" to avoid any confrontation with PETA or the like.... But thats just my personal thoughts.
FWIW bats can be stunned for a while; look dead as , then just fly off; seen it several times.
I hope that bat can stll be alive

The issue was more with Comcast than LP.
My LP skipped it as well during the "bat delay". I was pissed.

By the way, In my hometown, I rarely saw bats flying around, the city is seriously polluted and the number of those animals like birds, bats...is decreasing fast.
When I was a young boy I once chased a bat by hitting it with a stick, and nothing lucky happened since then.
