I wouldn't waste my time with anyone who thinks Durant is better than Roy.Just give them straight jackets and admit them to the nearest psych ward coz they are insane!
I'm having a discussion with some friends at work. These guys keep saying durant is better than roy. I disagree.
Roy seems to be a good leader, he is CLUTCH, he has a complete game (I am shocked of the number of assists durant has taking into account how much the ball resides in his hands- does this kid understand the word pass?) and can take over a game with more than his scoring.
I see roy as a great young player and as the best sg in a couple of years (yes, yes .. dwade is a pg in my eyes and by that time kobe will have lost a step).
I see durant just as volume shooter with great length, size and potential.
But, as of now, I consider roy to be miles ahead, with a much much more polished game and a killer instinct that resembles kobe's.
What do you think?

Within 2 years Durant will be better than Roy
Roy still is a better play than Durant, but it won't be for long.
Also, Durant must be the only one-dimentional shooter that averages 9 rebounds per game (and he actually goes to the line more than Roy).
And why is Wade a PG in your eyes? Because PGs are supposed to dominate the ball? Roy is just as ball dominant as Wade.
Roy is better, but once the Thunder get a little better, it will be a of a comparison.
Durant is nowhere near Roy's level. He's a volume shooter that doesn't play defense. When Durant starts making his teammates better we can have this discussion.
Roy is better at this point, but not by a lot you ing homer.
Durants ceiling is wayyyyyy more than roy's, which is why you see everyone saying Durant will be better in a bit
I bet Roy can bench press more than 80 lbs!![]()
Roy plays defense? His team is getting pwnd on that end and his coach is pissed about it.
Is that what Durant benches?
