Nets F Yi injures right knee against Bobcats

New Jersey Nets forward Yi Jianlian was helped to the locker room with a sprained right knee in Monday’s game against Charlotte.

Yi was near the basket when Bobcats forward Gerald Wallace fell and rolled into his leg midway through the third quarter. Yi crumpled to the floor and was attended to for a couple of minutes. He eventually got up and put no pressure on his right leg as he left the floor, and the team announced he would not return.

It was yet another injury for the Nets, who played their second straight game without point guard Devin Harris (groin). Keyon Dooling (hip), Tony Battie (knee) and Jarvis Hayes (hamstring) are also sidelined.

That's the sacrifice they made to try to get Lebron next year.

I forgot this is Spurstalk - according to Spurs fans, he's already in the Pantheon above Oscar, Magic and Isiah.

So I take it you're not aware that Devin Harris' 2 points in game 7 isn't the reason the Mavericks won the series?

I wasn't watching the Nets game usually do since I love the Nets, but Yankees were on so I only saw 5 mins here and there through the game. After having been to Nets games all my life and seeing the crowds I can say Bobcats crowd seem worse last night then a Nets crowd. I'm like god Nets have more people watching then the Bobcats

Devin is a grwat player, well maybe not a great player like Lebron, Kobe, or Howard, but he is prob 10 times better then all the people on the message boards at say a player isn't good. Of course to do that he will have to play first, actually a lot of Net players right now are hurt somewhat so they all have to get healthy and not be like the walking dead.

I can see it, once the Nets start getting healthy they will start winning and all other players in NBA will start getting hurt
