Trading McGrady is the best option....Especially if he comes back and plays at a high level, and the perfect fit in the offense would be Kevin Martin, since the Kings have talked about trading him in the past to cut costs

He's an up and coming 2nd rd pick in the last draft, not sure why he fell so far.

It will be a close game for the first 3 quarters, but LA will end up winning by 10+. Ariza vs Ron is definitely the story-line for this game

Budinger to the Rockets is like Dejuan Blair is to the Spurs.

Budinger is a sharpshooter with unbelievable athletic ability and gets his shot off really fast. Could be a young Brent Barry or perhaps a Reggie Miller type player.

I am worried that Ron and Ariza will take upon each other to try and take the game over for their sides. Rocket fans can say "Ariza isn't like that", but you'd have to be fooling yourself if you don't think that Ariza has some animosity toward the Lakers' front office. And Ron Artest is Ron Artest. He definitely doesn't like Ariza putting up great numbers. Hopefully he takes it upon himself to try and stop Ariza by playing D and not trying to light it up.

The red-headed whiteboy that were gonna treat like a step-child tonight?
He's pretty cold for a whiteboy and with the way the Lakers struggled against the Thunder I would shut the up if I were you.

    exhibit A:

Ariza ed himself. Larry Brown was right about him not being too bright. How do you risk leaving LA, your home, to go to Houston? Only a fool will do that. Now he's playing for a suck ass team that will never see the playoffs again.

I'm sure that, right about now, Ariza is pretty happy with the decision he took in the offseason. He already has his championship, he now can enjoy beign a go to guy in a pretty decent team.

    pretty much..

Ariza is still young, it's not like he's an old vet that is trying to go out with a le..he already got his ring, and now he gets to show off his individual skills and gets paid a good salary..

I'm still very happy to see him playing for another team..

No joke. I love the kid.
I am going out on a limb here and am calling it a close one. Lakers may be caught off guard tonight. Brooks may be the difference.
The Atrest/Ariza soap opera doesn't intrigue me whatsoever. They are both good and doubt they are out to "prove" something. If anything Trevor may get a little home sick once he sees the Purple and Gold and holds his hardware (the bling aka his ring).

    Should be a good game.

A lot better than getting 6 mill (or less) to be a bench or role player, besides his play with the Rockets will surely get him a lot more money in the future than staying with the Lakers.
