Your response was that Duncan won a championship thanks to Parker which doesnt make any sense considering he won a championship without Parker and no one can claim that Duncan was riding the coattails of the big diesel in 99 either.

So thus, you failed on two arguments.

1) Kobe can play however he wants since he wins championships (he was getting bounced in the first round or missing the playoffs all together before Gasol came around).

2) Kobe's dependence on Gasol (or Shaq) is the same as saying Duncan is dependent on Parker.

Remind me, SpurFan...how did the Spurs fare against the Thunder last year? The Lakers are defending champs and will get everyone's A game regardless if they're the lowly teams or contending juggernauts.

If there is a cry to criticize kobe for his 9-22 shooting night, there has to be a little attention paid to the fact that Kevin Durant went 10-24 and had a few airballs when some of his teammates got open for better shots.
