They gave up a ton and then double ed themselves by giving him that ridiculous contract. His route running looks even worse now than it did in Detroit. He's all bark and no bite. He just doesn't seem to give a about the game.

Boldin, Braylon, Maclin, Harvin...man, the Cowboys could have had a very young, very scary O.

. We'll have to live with what might have been. Miles is looking pretty good right now, and if Crayton can get his together, we might have a nice duo there..and Hurd is always hiding, ready to make a big play here and there.

Great trade for the Lions, but then they went and ed it up as only they can. Pettigrew over Oher looks to be one of the colossal mistakes of the draft thus far.

It's still early, but man that seemed like a no-brainer after taking Staff #1 overall.

    Oher's a monster...that was a mistake...but Pettigrew could get better.

I will say though that BSPN is just begging for this to end up bigger than it is...ratings galore. Just like the TO saga.

    Almost everyone did...Cincy did twice.

Yeah...as did the Colts, Chargers, Cardinals, Raiders, Bears, Rams, Saints, Jags, Ravens, Eagles, Falcons, Bengals, Panthers, Seahawks, ans (Tennessee Oilers at that point), the Bengals again, Patriots, Packers, and the Lions. At least Dallas got a pro bowler out of the deal. (Greg Ellis). A lot of other teams got players a of a lot worse than Ellis.

Yeah, um, you're probably the only person who follows the NFL who thinks drafting Peyton Manning counts as passing on Randy Moss.

Moss wouldn't have lasted long in Dallas just like in Oakland.

    Quincy/Wright/Hutchinson/Henson/Vinny/Bledsoe would have killed him.

No...no way..just stating that they did, bro. I know Peyton is light years ahead of Randy...

The ans passed on him and drafted a WR ahead of him. That's a bigger mistake than drafting Greg Ellis.

    yeah..this guy..

    Guys drafted ahead of Moss.

    Peyton Manning - Good pick
Ryan Leaf - - ing Cowboys had him once
Andre Wadsworth - injuries killed him
    Charles Woodson - Good pick
    Curtis Enis - blah
Grant Wistrom - solid player...no Randy Moss though
Kyle Turley - will always be known as the guy who threw Damien Robinson's helmet, but anger issues held him back.
Greg Ellis - solid player for the Cowboys.
Fred Taylor - Not Randy Moss, but a good player, nonetheless.
Duane Starks - Ended the Giants hopes in SB 35, went downhill after that.
    Tra Thomas - 3 Pro Bowls...not bad.
Keith Brooking - Solid player. 5x Pro Bowler. Locker room leader for Defense in Dallas.
Takeo es - Pretty decent player over the years..
    Jason Peter - who?
Anthony Simmons - (see Jason Peter)
Kevin Dyson - The dive and fail guy who was part of what is now known as "The Tackle"
Brian Simmons - (see Jason Peter)
Robert Edwards - blew his knee out his rookie season in a flag football game. Played with Miami 4 years later, but ended up in the CFL.
    Vonnie Holliday - meh
Terry Fair - (see Jason Peter)

Wow..can't believe some of these guys went before Moss...at least Dallas got Ellis out of the deal.

Damn a lot of fail on that list. The only guy who was clearly a better pick is Peyton and the only 2 guys who come close to Moss is Woodson and maybe Taylor (probably not considering he's made of glass). But you can't really blame any of those teams passing on Moss considering he was a ing head coming out of college

yeah. Cowboys got a decent pick in Ellis, and Brooking was a 5x Pro Bowler, but neither one of them are quite "Moss-like"

This season, Miles has 26 receptions for 563 yards and 6 TDs..but maybe most importantly, no drops. Terrell Owens, the former Cowboy, has 23 receptions with 281 yards and 1 TD...with 9 drops.

TO plays for a ty team though. I could have told you it wouldn't work out for him in Buffalo before he even signed that contract.

1 reception, 49 yards, 1 TD....not what we wanted, but dude was clutch when we needed him..that's all that matters...arguably the best receiver at avoiding tackles in the league.
