I just hope Nash has fun again tonight.
No way they'll beat what I consider the best team in the East. (let me watch a couple more boston games and my opinion may change.)
Lord have mercy on whoever guards Dwight and Nelson.... and Carter.
Vince Carter is out tonight (ankle), as well as Leandro Barbosa (wrist). Orlando's starting lineup:
Jameer Nelson
JJ Re
Matt Barnes
Ryan Anderson
Dwight Howard
vs.
Steve Nash
Jason Richardson
Grant Hill
Amare Stoudemire
Channing Frye
Game on.
Having seen both I have to say Boston. They are DEEP....
It's not their depth that's scary, it's their suffocating defense. A +21 point differential is terrifying, even if it is early in the season. They aren't letting anyone score.
82-0, and then they get swept in the first round by the 8th seed.
Not a good start to the game. Frye picked up two early fouls.
Why isn't this game on espn? Who really wants to watch Miami/Washington?
That's what I said when I first heard about him.
He's been dropping mega games for a scrub (thrown in as salary fodder in the VC trade).
He had a ty game last time though.
I know, right? I'm watching a crappy stream of it since ESPN thinks people still care about Miami.
Put Ponytail , Dudley and White Magic back in the game. What's the worst that could happen? They couldn't possibly be much worse than the starters are.
Damn, I'm impressed with how much better Amare has gotten at creating his own shot.
Dwight Howard picks up his 3rd personal + 1st technical foul.
This guy Jarron Collins can flop with the best of 'em
