At lease seven people are dead and 12 wounded in a shooting at Fort Hood in Texas, the base's the public affairs office told NBC News on Thursday.
The official would not give his name nor additional details. It was unknown whether victims are soldiers or civilians. One gunman was reportedly in custody and another was on the loose, NBC News said.
The base was reportedly on lockdown.

They don't have a lot of information yet. There may have been 3 shooters - one is in custody. The shooters were in uniform and the shooting took place at the place where new soldiers report in to do their paperwork.

7 people are dead and 20 injured. They are speculating the shooters just recently came back from being deployed and just went kinda crazy.

2nd damn mass shooting for this region in the last 20 years. I grew up there and I know exactly where it happened. Anybody that lived there knows that the Sports Dome was at times the center for some large parties. Very shocked to hear about this.
