I have a friend stationed there and his wife and two step daughters ages 3 and 6 where on post at a play ground when two mp's ran up to them and said they had to leave because there were shooters on the lose and people had been killed....now I know they had to be blunt to get them off base but they could have said this to just the mom and not the little girls

It will all depend on how this story plays out. If Major Hasan just flipped out, then it's not a big deal that he's muslim. However, if it comes out these 3 planned this attack because of their muslim beliefs, it will be a big deal.
