i know it was considered a terrorist organization by the US govt until 2000 when they decided to switch from a militaristic to a diplomatic approach.
terrorist is a broad term and me calling them a terrorist organization does not necessarily reflect my own opinion but that of the US govt, which has its own "definition" of terrorist groups - and surprise, surprise, they aren't all arabs.

You clearly haven't let the news play out given that you've already made 3 posts suggesting that this guy is an Islamic terrorist without any substantiation whatsoever.
Depends on what part of the world you're talking about. There are plenty of non-Arabic terrorists all over the world. In fact, I'm not even sure if the majority of Muslim terrorists are Arabic. Was this guy Arabic? I haven't looked yet.
In any event, I think you were equating being Muslim with being Arabic but even then there are a lot of terrorists around the world who are not Muslim.
