This team has so much in work to do to be a real contender it is ridiculous.
This is looking to be true. The Spurs defense isn't anywhere near ready for prime time.

Agree with Barkley... the Spurs are a *very* small team.

How ironic, we got a 6'11" and 6'10" in suits.

Wow, I forgot we have Haislip, too. I think every couple of games Pop should switch out some of the guys in suits and get them on the court.

    - Don't know what to say about the slow Utah bigmen taking the Spurs bigs off the dribble. No idea how that is happening.
This is the most disturbing trend I've noticed this season, how easily the Spurs big men are getting taken off the dribble.

If I were any of the other contenders watching this game, I'd be rofl. And, I'd pop open another beer and relax because this team doesn't look too good at all right now.

The Spurs are a team in transition. Pop is using last year's rotation in an attempt to shorten the learning curve and get a few early wins. So far, I don't think it's working. Bonner and Finley have shortcomings that overwhelm any chemistry or cohesion positive they bring to the table.

When Ginobili is off, he just kills our team..his shot selection is arguably the worst in the NBA..

BTW, I have to say Bonner actually looked decent out there on defense at the beggining of the game. He still doesn't give us boards, but I thought he defended better than other nights.
Now if his shot would actually go in...

Same here. I think he could be helping the team alot more than bogans, finley, and bonner combined

I'm surprised we're only behind 10 points. It felt and looked much worse.
