If I were Peter Holt, I'd be really pissed right now. Maybe this game has just passed Pop by. He seems to get more hard-headed every season. Finley and Bonner have to have something on Pop. No other coach in the NBA would be starting or playing those two even if they were down to 3 players. , I doubt there is a college coach who'd be playing Bonner and Finley. It's gonna take Tim, Tony & Manu to go to Pop and lay down the law. Especially Timmy. If we're going to lose like this then get the 3 youngsters in street clothes suited up and put Bonner, Bogans and Finley in street clothes and buy em seats in the nose bleed section. This is pure crap!

A Utah win against you guys is a rare bird, even at home. Good game, SA.

    Vote Deron on your All-Star ballots. 8 > 3
Congrats on the bounce back win, you guys looked great tonight.

Man Dejuan played his ass off tonight. See him look over to the bench. He's telling Pop start me FOOL.

Bonner got scored on by midget scrubs. LOL I will say it Bonner is the reason Rasheed said NO to the Spurs.
That's what makes the Rasheed move to Celtics hurt even more. With him on the Spurs we'd no longer have to see Bonner in the starting lineup every night.

Ratliff should be getting 10 MPG IMO..he needs to see the court at some point, it's a glaring need..

Duncan is still a good defender, but like Elnono said, he can't make up for 2 guys anymore..
Yes, with all the inside points the Jazz were getting, with that good game he had against Sacramento, I don't understand why Theo Ratliff didn't get some PT tonight

There will be a lot of work to do for timvp and Kori, moving threads, locking thread, etc.

I'm not worried about Spurs at all, I'm just sick of those impatient fans.

Yeah, Jerry Sloan deserved a win tonight. Deron was terrific

Boozer is a pompous ass that doesn't realize what a great coach and PG he has working with him

I think Pop should interchange Bogans with Haislip and Mahinmi for a couple of games at a time to see if they add anything to the rotation. We are having trouble right now grabbing boards and defending the Center position.

I agree 100%. Why can't Ratliff get 10 minutes per game. if he can't handle that why ing sign him.

Harlemheat is 100% correct here. Ratliff would make a difference in 10 minutes. That's 10 less for Bonner.

I don't know much about Keith Bogans but the minutes he has played he's been terrible

    Where's Malik? Bring Bruce back!!!!!!

I didn't expect the spurs to start the season winning all their games. I knew it would take time for the new players to adjust but i did expect better coaching from pop. He doesn't seem to know what he's doing anymore and his obsession with finley and bonner is pathetic. Playing those two players = fail.

    1 step at a time..

Setting the tone early is the most important aspect..momentum has a huge part in basketball, more than any other sport..

See how Ratliff plays and if he can give us anything..see if Hairston can help us out on the perimeter..

if they can't, look for trades with the expiring contracts we have..

No freaking way?! Fans of other teams would kill to have a coach like Pop, us Spurs fans are unbelievably spoiled.

What I don't understand was that small-ball crap he pulled in the 3rd quarter when the Spurs were getting dominated inside the paint on both ends. When your getting beat inside DO NOT play Michael Finley at PF, put Theo in!

Was the interior defense this bad last season? I don't think I can't recall it being this bad. Even with just Bonner/Oberto/Kurt

McDyess doesn't look passionate out there, not the way DeJuan is always passionate and how Theo came off the bench with all that energy against SAC

Could not agree more... those guys are absolutely worthless and yet they get huge amounts of minutes... I just don't get it! It's basically the same situation we had at the end of last season.

Maybe Pop will wake up and smell a strong cup of java left on the nightstand by Timmy and realize that it is a very bad mix having both Bonner and Finley on the floor together. It's early in the season but, hopefully the Chicago game along with this game will wake Pop up to change things up before it is too late and we fall too far behind. A lot can happen by the time the All Star break rolls around including a trade or two before the deadline if things don't look much better.
