07-08 Cels center Kendrick Perkins is 6'9, and they relied on aged KG, pierce and Allen.
03-04 Piston's center Ben Wallace is 6'8.
Last year Houston's center Hayes did a great job on defense, he is 6'6.
Did you seriously just try and say Kendrick Perkins and Ben Wallace are just as weak as Bonner, Blair, and old vets of the Spurs?

Every season people start to go crazy after 3 or 4 games, declaring that the season is over or a championship is guaranteed. Same mistake every single year, year after year.
If the team we had last year could win the division, then this team will still have a lot of wins, guys. Don't worry. Its 4 games.

Like you can make these conclusions 5 games into the regular season. Last year we started out even worse and we finished with the second best record in the west.
Excuses versus explanations. We've started out the regular season even worse in years past and had less talented teams and still won a championship.
By your rash judgment, we should write off the Cavs as well.
I think the point is Ben Wallace and Kendrick Perkins are undersized. I've watched Kendrick Perkins for a number of years, he sucked until the last couple of years. He took a significant amount of time to get to where he is today. Blair is much further along. Just saying.
