Bob Sanders is ing worthless![]()
not in stopping the run game like bob can
Texans have no run game so no worries there.
Oh good grief.
I can appreciate what he brings to the team when he plays, but really now.
How much are we paying him for that one game he plays a season?
This is ridiculous.![]()
What's amazing is there's a good chance the Colts find a way to overcome the injuries to Hayden, Jackson and Sanders and still trot out a good pass defense this week.
I heard he's just out indefinitely, not on IR. I bet you ten bucks he plays against the Patriots and then goes back to the bench until January.
Although if Bob does go to IR, this has Patrick Ewing Theory written all over it.
BSPN reported last night done for the year. Too bad, I like Sanders.
Son of Im starting to think Sanders is the a better version of Mike Brown![]()
True, but lets give credit to Matt Shaub, who will do his part in making our pass D look stout.
Damn I was close. Looks like it will be a 3 point win for Indy.
Great win today. What gets lost in all the Peyton Manning love is that the Colts defense is playing for real this year. Past Manning-era Colts defenses couldn't close games. I'm excited about this team once Gonzalez gets back to 100%, because that will add another weapon for Peyton and he won't have to worry about the inexperience of Collie and Garcon if defenses can cover Wayne, Clark and Gonzo.
This team needs Kelvin Hayden back bad. I think with Hayden and Gonzalez healthy, this team will be really hard to stop. My biggest fear is Caldwell ing up this team's rhythm by resting people once they lock up their seeding. Without looking at the numbers, I'm pretty sure a win against Houston next week wins the division.
One thing that's pissing me off right now is the Colts are trying to develop another one of their young TEs and it's not working at all. Against the Patriots they tried a few plays to Robinson and it wasn't pretty. Today Tom Santi caught something like six balls for 80 yards (check the box score but I think they showed a graphic saying that during the game and he didn't catch another ball after that).
Obviously today the turnovers kept the Ravens in the game. The Reed pick was all on Peyton but the other one was one of those picks you can't really predict will happen because it just bounced right into the DBs hands. But that goal line stand was a thing of beauty today. I don't even think I trusted this year's defense to make that stop. This team has been great on third down defense, especially in scoring situations. I'm excited for this year's defense because they've got tons of ceiling with all the injuries they have, yet are still making clutch plays.

I have been very pleased with this years D, even with all the injuries we have had to endure. Just really proud of that bunch. I have ALOT of confidence in this D to pull their weight down the stretch.
And your right, Hayden and Gonzalez back will just bolster the team even more.

Whoever owns LOL texans does an impressive job of making it look like me, but not as well as I make people believe half of my trolls are mouse.
The Colts need to try someone else on kick returns. Or just let it touchback every time and save energy. Chad Simpson sucks majorly.
And hopefully Santi has been pardoned from being in the 2nd half of any game.
Chyeah. You just can't do things like that.
He didn't wanna talk to the ol' ball coach after that one.
It's not a coincidence that Kelvin Hayden's first game back the Colts end their 4th quarter comeback streak and never trail in the game, winning by double digits.
The one thing that can kill this Colts team is a team that can up their field position. The Chargers punter was the MVP of that playoff game last year, and the real reason Indy lost that game apart from Jewish officiating in overtime was that they started almost every drive of that game inside their own 10 yard line.
dirk4mvp is on the money with his hate of Chad Simpson. Ironically enough the guy sucks so bad that he was tackled at the 1 yard line when I broke for a 99 yard KO return with him on Madden.
The thing I want to know now is where the is Gonzalez? What damage could possibly have been done to his knee on a play where he was untouched by a defender, and how could that damage keep him out for 11 games following that? His injury is already on the same level as Marvin Harrison's 2007 injury, maybe even gayer than that. If he comes back healthy and can make some plays, this team is going to be tough to beat. Luckily Garcon is having the kind of season I expected Gonzalez to have yardage-wise, so its all good.
Let's lock up the 1 seed next week.![]()
So next week if they win they get that win streak and lock up most wins in any decade. No better team to do it against than the bronchodes.
If they lose, the got bronco fans who've been posting once a week in the nfl forum since week 7 will act like they haven't missed a beat.
