Ever have anyone use that phrase to belittle Mexicans?

I bring this up because some pissed off cowboy used it on me to try and intimidate me I guess. He ended up feeling stupid because I had to give him a history lesson and tell him that the Mexicans won at the Alamo.

I think they need to reteach that little tidbit in history classes.
