I’m not against small ball, but Pop...could you stop playing Fin? could you stop making Mase a PG? we lost about 6 or 8 points on that two decisions.
It difficult to know who play worst on D, Finley or Mason

lets just turn the tv off and not watch the spurs until January and see whats poppN![]()
Dear Pop,
Please stop playing small ball. Also please permanently bench Finley.
Okay, Much Love
usckk
Its like people expected a team with that much overhaul and that many key players out of shape are supposed to come out looking like the 85 Celtics.
We cut the lead from 15 to 11. The third quarter better be the spark we need. When is the next game?
I ain't goin anywhere.
But I'd happily stick a knife in Finley, Bonner and Mahinmi, amke a shish-kebab about of them, and send them to GS for Jax at this point.
TP/Hill
Manu/Mason/RJ/Jax/Bogans
Timmy/Dice/Ratliff/Blair
You just know that Jax would fire this team up again, give them heart and soul... he's a game-changer. Would he listen to Pop is the question.
Remember when the Spurs were anti small ball? Those were the days....
can't complain on his defense and thx god i dont c finley
I really want to see Timmy and Blair playing in the same lineup. Or at least Timmy and Theo.
People assume it is the FNT because TP has looked gassed and he is playing like . That comes from playing a summer full of basketball.
I think Bogans is pretty good on D. Right now as long as you don't turn over the ball and play good D, your an asset.
I was almost sure it was a back to back but Spurs.com schedule have it on November 5th and 7th
Wed 5 @ Minnesota W 129 - 125 2OT 1-3 T. Parker 55
T. Duncan 16
Fri 7 Miami L 83 - 99 1-4 T. Duncan 22
T. Duncan 11

I wish Malik was activated tonight. I can guarantee you he'd be hustling his ass off on defense and on the boards. Too bad we have ty Mason in there. When he isn't hitting his shot he isn't worth .
Stick a spork in them!
Yeah, I'll be watching all season too...
LOL one word for you.. POP
He calls at ude showboating and wont have any of that![]()

I will answer this one for TImvp.
It's because TP has looked like total crap so far this season. he looks gassed, disinterested and just plain poor out there. he didn't get a good training camp in to integrate himself with the new players, and as a point guard that is very important to learn the players you're going to play with.
Look at Dirk, he looks fresh as a daisy out there this season.
I think he needs to see a Catholic priest, in addition to the rabies shots.
Which game have you been watching? Game 1 of the 05 finals?
You have to hit more than 1 layup and 1 3 to be "feeling it".I agree, I need to see his jumpshot completely back to 2007-2008 levels. before I say he's "feeling it"
That said, I'm hoping Manu brings out one of his patented, "kill Portland to dismay of Portlanders" quarters. I think Portland is one of those teams that hate seeing Tony or Manu.
last season and this season are starting to make me think that Pop cannot coach offense. there's no explanation for all the jumpers and 3s we shoot.
Plus, for the kind of offensive production we're getting out of Finley, might aswell play somebody that can stay with people...
Wish in one hand in the other see which fills up faster.
The Spurs have zero interest in him and the peeps (not you) need to come to grips with reality on that.
Call me crazy but I've seen some good things. I like what Bogans brings on D, his offense? Other than the layup that got blocked, did they even PASS him the ball? I just think everyone as per freaking usual needs to take a step back and chill and understand teams that are overhauled and out of shape as much as the Spurs are and were are not gonna be clicking on all 8 cylinders out of the gate.
like this if its March.
I'm pretty sure it's an error; I remember it pretty vividly.
The Spurs played in Minnesota, had the double-overtime (IIRC) victory with Tony's 55, and came home for a game against Miami that was televised by ESPN; that was the game JVG stated that the Spurs were fielding maybe the least talented team in the league at that point in time.
