Gotta love NT play![]()
Anyone know any information on this yet? My initial reaction was that it was nothing serious considering he was able to walk off the court, but sometimes looks are deceiving. Tony has not had any really bad injuries yet in his career as a Spur, so maybe he's due (hopefully not).![]()
the only source everybody has right now is ESPN..... no need to spam threads
we really needed this post? it has nothing to do with this timvp come on give us a break...![]()
The one player who played for their NT this summer is the first player to get injured.
Fluke?
the cruel irony is, bonner or finley will NEVER get injured and thus will continue to play on for eternity
Same with Gasol...interesting.
Yeah, I'm sure that was a fluke too.
Too much NT paranoia. Manu played several summers and never got injured. It's just bad luck to me.
does he get hurt if it was not back to back ?
It's a rolled ankle. It has nothing to do with NT play. Come on
X-rays were negative ... good news!![]()
Uh, Manu has gotten injured every year of his career.
LOL, I never made that connection haha
It's not just tonight's injury. Tony's looked like he had in the tank so far this season thanks to playing worthless ing international ball.
Never? Are you sure?
I don't know, but I like the defense since Tony left. Tony needs to refocus on the defensive end.
Last year was a lot of back and forth, giving up a bucket, then schooling the other team to the whole...
This year Tony has yet to crank it up on the offensive end, might as well bring it on D. I like Hill's effort tonight, in forcing some tough possessions for Portland.
Tony's offense isn't there, that's a fact. However, I wouldn't single him out for bad defense. Things have picked up defensively in the second half but its been a combination of factors, not just him leaving.
Things actually started to pick up when Hill started to get burn in the 2nd quarter.
This could be a blessing in disguise. Look at the timing. This type of overuse-type injury could have happened later, but either way it would have happened. A sprained ankle is something that takes weeks, not months (usually -- unless you're Ian) to heal.
So given the timing of this injury, after two straight losses and some early complacency and rest due to the schedule...this team will be forced to come together and guys will be tested and have to step up if TP is out for a couple weeks. We need to make this injury a rallying cry for this very talented team to come together and hold things up until TP makes his return after a well-deserved (and needed now) rest.
Sad thing to see an injury but if it is minor like a sprain, we might as well get it out of the way early while we have time to kick everyones ass into gear liek they need to be.
