The Bucks are actually a top tier team. Lebron is simply a bandwagon fan, idk what's so hard to see about that.
James Loney is from Houston, though. LeBron is from around here. That's what pissed people off. If he was from the Metroplex and rooted for the Cowboys when they played in Cleveland people would have cut him more slack.
But at least he has the good sense to root for the Bucks.

That's true. We saw how well he deals with losing last year in the playoffs. There is no way in he could be a Browns fan.
LeBron: Wins most important factor

NEW YORK -- LeBron James dropped a bit of a bomb on the entire NBA when he spoke his final sentence Friday night before leaving Madison Square Garden, a statement that should leave everyone in Cleveland, New York and elsewhere -- especially in Miami -- wondering exactly what the King meant by those parting words.
"As a kid I visualized playing for almost every team in the NBA," James said. "Right now, I visualize playing with a lot of guys in the NBA. There are a lot of great individual basketball players that I would love to be alongside of and try to contend for an NBA championship.
"I think at the end of the day, a max deal or anything like that doesn't really matter to me at the end of the day. It's all about winning for me. So I've put myself in a position that when that day comes next summer, I want to win, and if I feel like the team is capable of winning, I'll make my decision like that."
Did you catch that part in the middle? The part about how a max deal doesn't really matter at the end of the day?
That, folks, could be a game-changer -- a statement of epic proportions that could shake up everyone's preconceived notions about who has the best chance of landing the game's best young player.
Cleveland, of course, can offer James the most money -- a six-year deal in the range of $120 million. The Knicks and the Nets have the salary cap space to give James the maximum they are allowed to offer -- a five-year deal in the mid-to-high $90 million range.
And then there are the Heat, who already have a max player in Dwyane Wade and who would like to add two more max-level players if Pat Riley can charm those two players into signing for something less than the max, giving all three players (let's assume Riley will shoot for the stars and go after James and Chris Bosh, while also retaining Wade) opt-out clauses after three years. Put those three together with Michael Beasley and Mario Chalmers, and that right there is a bona fide powerhouse.
And you know what? As farfetched as that idea sounds, it certainly became much more plausible after hearing what James had to say after dropping 33 points, nine assists and eight rebounds on the Knicks in a 100-91 victory Friday night.
It wasn't much of a game, the Cavs storming out to a 40-21 lead after one quarter and then holding off the Knicks for the rest of the evening, James providing the finishing touches after New York pulled within nine. First, he assisted on a jumper by Mo Williams, then after grabbing a defensive rebound, he sank one of the several fadeaway jumpers he was nailing all night. An assist on a corner 3 by Anthony Parker made it a 14-point game, and all there was to do after that was wait for the final horn and watch James walk over to shake hands with several member of the World Series champion New York Yankees, his favorite baseball team.
Asked what he'll remember most fondly about the night, he replied:
"The atmosphere, just that the atmosphere was great," James said. "There were a lot of stars in the building, and it's humbling to have guys like the Yankees come out and Jay-Z. It's really, really humbling to see some of the [football] Giants out, John Legend, I saw Chris Rock. You almost feel like you're a performer sitting on a stage, and they're watching you perform."
"Humbling" is a phrase you really wouldn't expect to come out of James' mouth, because humblers do not usually describe themselves as humbled.
James has already made it abundantly clear that he enjoys playing at Madison Square Garden more than any other arena in the league, and the vibrancy of New York makes it his favorite city in America.
But the guy strongly, strongly reiterated that winning is the No. 1 priority on his wish list.
(An aside here, but it shouldn't go unmentioned that he dressed differently, too, his fashion consultant outfitting him in a black ski cap, thick designer Dida eyeglasses and a black and white striped tie that somehow managing to blend with a black and white plaid shirt.)
So he looked a little different, and he sounded different, too, with that line about the max money.
Now we have that factor added to the equation -- along with James' pregame statement that "I'm not going to rush it" when it comes to making a decision soon after July 1.
At the very least, it most certainly adds an interesting wrinkle to the possibilities that'll be in play when the Summer of LeBron finally rolls around.
Yeah, but still, Snoop is the biggest bandwagon fan known to professional sports, Raiders/Steelers/Patriots/Lakers/Warriors/Dodgers fan.
He's not really a Stealers' (spelled like that on purpose) fan perse; that has more to do with his previous gang affiliations. Pittsburg's colors are the alternate to the set he's from in Long Beach, which makes it all the more hilarious when ESPN showed him in the booth waiving a towel and sporting the colors on opening night; they inadvertently were promoting all of that in attempts to try to make themselves look hip.
And probably UCLA for basketball. The USC football and UCLA basketball fans are a riot.
I agree with Jeff Van Gundy. LeBron already knows where he is going to be next year.
Imagine if you had a job for 3 years and had the chance to have any job in the world. You would already know which job you're going to take.
If he came out and said that CLE was his choice, then the entire NY media fellate-fest would end. Now why would he want to do that? The man wants to be worshiped.
I like LBJ, but the league/sponsors are conditioning him to be a complete .
The league/sponsors didn't condition him to put "Chosen One" on his back.
He'd be an idiot not to come to NY..greatest city on the planet, best people on the planet, there's simply nowhere that even comes close..
...did you ever think that maybe, jus maybe, he really want to win a le?
Not happening in NY anytime soon.
There's a very unlikely chance it happens in Cleveland..
The Knicks don't have many contracts on the payroll..they're going to have Curry's massive expiring contract that they can dump next year..they can get another big-name next to Lebron, and they can easily build a team as good as Cleveland's mediocre supporting cast..
NBA is a superstar league, and Lebron is the best player right now..easily able to build a contender around him..
You don't pass up playing in NY..there's already a lot of buzz here about Lebron, I can only imagine what would happen if he signs here..you don't pass that up..
I think when you are talking about players in Kobe, Lebron, Wade status the whole big/small market argument is antiquated. Lebron would be a star in Memphis. He is going to go with whatever team gives him the best chance at a le. I think the talk about Miami is interesting. They are talking like they would have the means to keep Wade and obtain LBJ along with another star.
I still think if Cleveland cannot get a comittment from him before the trade deadline that they would be foolish to not trade him and at least get something.
They even had an article here in LA speculating that a trade of Bynum, Odom or Artest, Walton and some picks could be done for him. All BS no doubt, but from a Cavs standpoint, and i dont think they have what it takes this year to contend, why not walk away with a package like that or something similar from another team as opposed to watching him walk away for nothing?
Cleveland doesn't have the balls to ask Lebron to make a decision by a certain deadline..absolutely not IMO..they wouldn't risk upsetting him by considering a trade..Lebron is a guy with an ego and is very sensitive from what we've seen of him..that wouldn't go over well IMO..
Obviously it would be in Cleveland's best interest, I just don't think they would risk upsetting him..if that ends up coming back to haunt them, the franchise will receive heavy backlash from the fans..
Lebron definitely comes off as a guy that loves the spotlight and wants the big city..I think there's a chance that he stays in Cleveland due to the hometown story and all, but he comes off as a guy that wants to play in NY..
Miami is possible, but I don't know if I see Wade staying there either..
It'll be an interesting Summer..
I don't know. LeBron seems like such an attention he may just be leading NY on. With that roster, I don't know that I'd be too eager to go there unless they could also convince Wade or Stoudemire to come. Now New Jersey is a whole other story. Devin Harris and Brook Lopez would be the two best teammates James has had since Boozer left.
Trading a franchise guy for marginal players is never in a team's interest. If the NBA didn't have a collective bargaining agreement that strongly punished players for leaving their current teams, I could see the argument more. That's going to be a lot of guaranteed money James will have to walk from to leave Cleveland. I'd take my chances that he wants to be paid no matter how bad it looks if I'm Danny Ferry.
It's gonna be fine time doggin', teasin' & tormentin' James & his attendant minions over the years as he hunts in vain that ring. He'll get more money, but, he's going to play gettin' that ring.
I completely agree. The ring is elusive, and it won't be easy for James. But he's not staying in Ohio.
Lebronze completely lost me a few years ago when he told his moms to go sit her ass down after a players altercation versus the Celts. Zero respect for a cat like that... and all that dam mimic picture taking before games is silly as . You'd never see Kobe doing stupid ass like that. Kobe's all about business...
'Ship his ass out'.
Colorado.
Public trade demands.
Shaq and Kobe feud.
Thought that had to be said but we don't want another Kobe/LeBron thread.
Also, LeBron is the biggest attention in the NBA. Always plays for the stats against the Knicks in the MSG. At least he went down to the post and scored and made some passes from there a few times.
none of that trumps cursing your mother in my book. and btw Kobe's demands got him another ring...while you Labor with Snaq on your team...
