See Cobb, this should be a revelation for you. Culburn uses some of the same arguments you do.
lol at Chris Paul's 47% shooting.
See Cobb, this should be a revelation for you. Culburn uses some of the same arguments you do.
I have no problem with that.
You see... the whole 15-0 thing is just plain fun as it gets under your skin. I don't blame you there either. It's would drive me nuts.
Tim Duncan (before he took up the rockin' chair)
Bob McAdoo
Kevin McHale
Larry Bird
Elvin Hayes
Maurice Lucas
So I guess all the stats I showed don't matterLaker fans. Never change their opinion no matter how stupid it turns out to be.
And I dont claim the 2006 le. Never have, never will
Sure there was terrible officiating favoring the heat, but there is no ring for Dirk and no banner in the rafters.
I'm just waiting to see somebody get killed with a trident.
You dumb piece of
It goes
sf Bird
pf Mchale
c Parish
dumb
You're re ed.
lol at using a SF.
Don't worry, you still have as many rings as Cobbler and Culburn do.
Was Cobb right to do it (the 15)? No.
Was Cobb justified to do it (the 15)? Yes.
Cobb used it as you all used Daddy/sans Kobe for three years. "We'd" just get goin' in an argument/debate and some wise ass would whip out the Daddy hammer and lay it on us. That's what Cobb did with the (15). Stings, don't it?
Dirk averages what, 9 rebounds a game for his career? He's averaged a 25/11 in the playoffs for his career.
Dirk is great; not as great as Duncan, I'll give you that at their peak or for their careers, but to say Dirk isn't great is absurd. But I'm arguing with a 121-63 fan, so no surprises there. You're just spewing the ignorance you're supposed to spew.
It's a fine list, yer just subjective for Dirk.
lol at Dirk's efficiency and rebounding being put into question
When you get to the line a lot and make over 90%, when you shoot 48% from the field, when you shoot a lot of 3's and make around 40% (not the case anymore with Dirk, but it was a huge part of his offensive arsenal in the past), when you hardly ever turn it over, that's efficiency.
As for his rebounding, 8.5 isn't something to sneeze at considering his perimeter oriented game... he is a very good defensive rebounder but subpar on the offensive glass due to his style. Also, dude's averaging 11 rebounds per game in the playoffs. GTFO with dat .
lol 121-63
The bolded guys aren't as good as Dirk.
If your definition of "great" is a top 2-3 PF of all time then no Dirk is not great.
But if your definition of great is a top 5-10 PF of all time, which Dirk is, then yes greatness
Also, best PF in the ing league right now. 4x all-NBA, 9x all star, (should be) 1x champion.
Oh the greatness!![]()
"good" to me is who I would take if presented with Dirk and each of those fellows side-by-side, Fin. Not even a question straight down the line. You're too close, Fin. You have no objectivity.
I certainly cannot name EVERY one.... but i can list quite a few off the top of my head for ya.
Barkley
McHale
Duncan
Malone
Elvin Hayes
KG
Debusshure (sp)
Lucas
Schaes (sp)
Pet
Haywood
Rodman
just to name a few. And don't let me add SF's who are better cause the list will grow exponetionally.
So Bird's a pf?
I ain't worried, DUNCAN. I got 15 NBA World Championships. You're holding the NBA Old Maid card at O & 41!
Damn right.
![]()
You seriously just said Dave DeBusschere (career average of 16 PPG) is better than Dirk?
son just to name a few ...
Past:
Elvin Hayes
Charles Barkley
Karl Malone
Chris Webber
Kevin McHale
Bob Pet
Present:
Tim Duncan
Kevin Garnett
Pau Gasol
Chris Bosh
Elton Brand
son that is just 11 players off the top of my head ... I'd even take Rodman over Dirk in his prime.
Elton Brand![]()
Wow. Just Wow. You are such a dumb ass. Im not even going to list all the things wrong with that but Dirk in the top 5 best pf.
Duncan is a center, but if you must include him the dirk is still in top 5.
And I thought you were being serious in this thread.
