son individually he hasn't owned . their stats are neck and neck ... his TEAM has owned the Hornets. son the Hornets have always struggled with the Jazz.
totally disagreed. paul's ability to make his teammates better hasn't been factored in. the only thing williams has on him in any aspect of basketball is size

When one plays in a highly-structured offense where the coach keeps him somewhat on a leash and the other is the most important power center on his team, more powerful than the head coach, and has carte blanche to do whatever he wants? I could be persuaded that CP3 is better than Deron, but the difference is negligible.

Are you illiterate? Making excuses is when you fail to give credit to the team that won the series. The 2008 Hornets were better than the 2008 Mavericks and proved it in the playoffs. What I'm saying is that beating a team that was in disarray and had quit on its coach is not that impressive in the grand scheme of things, and that's all Chris Paul has ever done beyond April 20th.

Can anybody explain to me how Paul gets propped up to Isiah's level when Chauncey Billups dropped a Hot Carl on him? Nobody ever dropped a Hot Carl on Isiah.
Look, to be quite honest, Paul is a top 10 player and no worse than 2nd-best PG in the league. But I wouldn't go any further than that. Let's hold off on "historically great" until he does something besides beat the 2008 Mavs in the playoffs.
