picked up 2 quick fouls early, then Spurs started playing small ball.

Bogans...11min, 7pts, 1-2 3FG, 4-4 FT...and lots of good defense.
ceperez is viewing the thread...what say you Bogans hater?
I wonder if they'll put Hairston in for some meaningful minutes in the second half
Answer: Scrapping and Rebounding.
As he puts in more small ball
63pts and 63% alowed....
Now people can understand why Pop gave the benefit of the doubt to Bogans. He has earned it and seems to be doing well so far. I want Malik to play as bad as anyone, but if Bogans can play at this level, you have to give him the nod.
Looks like our team turned into the Phoenix Suns. Gonna have to try and outshoot teams to win... How do you let a team shoot 62%?
While Finley isn't playing all that great Mason is even worse. You would think Hairston could get some of those minutes.
Spurs are playing pretty well IMO: beating the Raps on the boards, getting to the line, and creating lots of extra possesions. If they would miss once in a while we'd have a ten point lead.
Hey, watch it. We're 7-1, buddy.![]()
Good news is they can't get just about anything they want offensively if they keep the middle open and let Manu run the pick and roll with a big; that pass for a dive-cut or a slip is there every time for a guy with Manu's passing ability.
George has been pretty studly, Bonner is trying to have a dunking contest with RJ, and Malik made a brief appearance. Not bad..
They've got to find a way to negate Toronto's size down the stretch because Hedo and Bargnani have been too comfortable shooting over the top when fed in the post and Bosh's kryptonite is in street clothes leaving him undeterred and having no trouble getting to the free-throw line.
Let's get some stops, boys.
weird, wasn't it a couple games ago that Blair was averaging 6.3 points and 6.3 rebounds?
Uh oh, here come the horsemen....four of 'em
Hairston should be given a chance as well. He has worked his ass of to earn that as well.
And not good shots by the Raptors all the time. Plenty of shots over a hand in the face. They are just shooting well.
From the first half:
Bogans can start instead of Fin.
McDyess can start instead of Bonner.
Mason should not play PG.
Pop: "watch us play BIG this half"
jump hook good by bonner lawl
We need to double Bosh
Bogans and Hairston should both be playing..
usually I would want a great shooter out there, but it's not like Finley and Mason have been on fire this season..
Bosh at the line again. WTF is going on.
I'm proud of how the Spurs are playing tonight with their two franchise players out...keep it up boys....this will make you stronger.
