Doesn't the update to the pos state that he changed his stance somewhat

The gtown MO is to misrepresent his target, then to attack his own misrepresentation as if it were the target. It's hard to say whether this arises from a willful refusal to read what posters actually say, or the inability to see past his own nose.
In the final analysis, it scarcely matters which. Both answer to elemental definitions of idiocy.
