I used to do it all the time. There was almost never a time when I was driving when I wasn't either hitting a pipe or smoking cigs. That went on for about 8 years. Every time I drove.
Just curious, how many of you have or currently engage in this activity?

If it's accepted by ANYONE here that its ok to smoke weed while driving but yet condemn driving while drinking, kill your hipocrit self right now.
I Love me some smoke and I knoe EXACTLY how I feel when I smoke that ish.... It is NO ing different than being drunk. Its a "different" kind of feeling but the effect is still the same.
And yes, I do still smoke AND drink... but I do not drive under either condition.
Then again, I have a corner store literllay down the block so I dont exactly have to drive either way.
Obviously you don't smoke often at all or you're just a lightweight because being drunk and being stoned are NOTHING alike. I don't like being drunk, hence why I smoke weed.
Obviously your biased. I have been smoking since 9th grade... that was in 1995. I'm no light weight. You smoke enough and you will zone out on the road. It's definately not the same as being drunk but dont ing pretend you dont zone out at all and are completely aware of whats going on. Dont be that kind of jackass.
i dont do it any more unless im on a trip over an hour, or with someone and about to go in a bar, game, movie or concert
or in a small south texas city where this is the best way to pass the time
when youre actually driving you get more stoned- this is fact ive studied it, theres just something about the enclosed quarters, the motion, the concentration on maximizing the hit, the music
when im really drunk i have no desire to drive anywhere, if im moderatly drunk i have the tendency to drive fast and corner harder, brake hard etc... if youre stoned this is the last thing you would ever do, its like crusing slow and obeying the traffic laws become a challenging simulation or strategic game
The only time I smoked and drove I got lost in the town I've lived in for 9 years and going down a road that I go down all the time. For a few seconds I though I was in a completely other city and was starting to freak out. Plus, I'm not sure if it was the weed getting the best of my paranoia or just a coincidence but there was a cop at every turn and light

Why does everyone thing doing something like this is cool? like this makes it really hard for me to take my 9 month old daughter anywhere because some re ed stick will be smoking, drinking, or both while driving thinking he/she is so awesome.

I drive 'stoned' on the regular and quite frankly there's so minuscule a cognitive difference between being high and stone sober that I don't even think about it.
Honestly, I don't. Of course, you don't roll up a joint of the dankest dank you have and consciously think to yourself, "let's see how ed up I can get while driving."
The trick is to not zone out and also, not to smoke a ton of weed while you're driving. Smoke a few bowls of regs, maybe a bowl of dank, or , a joint/blunt or regs and you'll be fine. I can smoke weed and function perfectly fine. If anything, it makes me more aware of what's going on while I'm driving because I'm slightly more paranoid. I've gotten past that whole zoning out into space .
And how am I biased? I like to drink, sometimes being drunk is nice. But I would much rather smoke weed because of the fact that it is less inhibiting and helps me operate on a higher, more functional level.

You would be amazingly surprised, ESPECIALLY IN SAN ANTONIO, how many people are driving around ed up on Xanax, coke, meth, drunk as , or on herion, and you're complaining about people smoking weed and driving?

Smoking while driving is as dangerous as eating a burger while driving, maybe less. And the people who will smoke and drive are they people who KNOW they can handle doing it, because trust me, I have plenty of friends who are lightweights who won't touch a steering wheel when they're blazed.

I think his reason is why risk it? Why risk getting someone in an accident because you don't have any self restriction to just stay at home. Im all for smoking and drinking but if you are impaired, stay at home or don't get behind the wheel.

Never done it "WHILST" driving, but I have gotten pretty blazed and taken a trip to my local Mickey D's. All I can remember is pulling up to the two foot tall concrete "curb" in the parking lot...for about 5 solid minutes. I kept slowly inching my way closer and closer to it while using EVERY bit of strength I had to push down on the brake. For some reason, that was the most difficult thing EVER.
A buddy of mine said that one time he was smokin' "whilst" driving and ended up sitting at a stop sign for about 20 mins...waiting for it to turn green.

Not to call those stories bull , but anyone who takes 5-20 minutes to figure out a brake pedal and/or stop sign has much bigger problems on their hands than those accentuated by marijuana.
