Bynum was taken with the 10th pick in the 2005 draft.

We got the pick through the Shaq trade.

Been telling you guys for years.

Bynum just had some really bad luck. Coming down on Lamar's chubby chasing foot and Kobe chop blocking his knee - it wasn't his fault.

And you guys do realize Bynum was playing like this in 07/08 before he got hurt? The Lakers are the favorites out West with or without Pau Gasol. That's how good a healthy Bynum is.

    No.

The 10th pick was their own pick. The Lakers finished 2-19 after starting 32-29 in 2004-05.

The first rounder from Miami was the 2006 pick used to draft Farmar.

    true...

In essence, we traded Shaq for Pau, Farmar and Lamar.

bynum has a great shooting touch as well. You can see that his game isnt all about power. Im wondering if he picked it up from Kareem or just naturally had it.

    Your right - my bad.

Interesting to look back - Portland apparently almost picked Bynum with the 6th pick.

Damn - Danny Granger went 17th.

I sure as didn't think it was a bad choice. Bynum is exactly the player I wanted before the draft. I was pumped when we picked him.

im sure Kareem had a big part of it. You have to learn something from a guy teaching you for a few years, especially from an all time great.

Actually I did on clublakers. I also correctly predicted we would draft him which resulted in me winning the draft challenge on the site. So... you're wrong.

Not true at all. Many were pro Bynum during the draft like me. And Jimmy Buss.

Funny how Jimmy was blamed for WASTING KOBE's PRIME when he defended the Bynum pick. Yet now all the credit goes to Mitch even though he wanted Sean May (Phil wanted Granger).

You are saying: " If I ever said anything "

Are you sure you have actually said anything bad about him?

Because if you are taking back what you haven't said, you'll look pretty stupid

Bynum sucks and if he goes up against a real center/pf he gets owned.

    Yao owns him
    Shaq owns him
    Duncan owns him
    Howard owns him

even Bosh and Jefferson owns him and I"ll go on and say Okafor would take the wood to him. LOL
