damn mexican get it soon i already sent the request. it does suck you cant matchmake for spec ops. i cant find anyone to play with
I'll be sure to keep you updated.
Havoc, give it up. It's a very fun game, first and foremost, but don't get me wrong: I can see where you're coming from. Boycotting the game is really the only way you can make any difference.
here's the problem: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 became the highest grossing launch in entertainment history, pulling in $310 million in the US and UK alone.
It's over. They've already won. The response to the game is immense and positive. They'll ignore you easily because of this.
Besides, you'll have fun. Don't give it the WaW treatment out of blind hatred.
any and all aircrafts in all xbox live mode. Nothing is more supremely gay in a FPS than getting gunned down by a ing plane.
On the real, this game has been out for three days and I feel like 6 of the 8 people in most free for all matches have got to be 400 pound virgins with nothing better to do than continue playing this game because they've been on the couch so long their skin is grafted to it. I miss my WaW maps.
If I was 14 and had the ass tons of free time I had back then, I'd probably be level 60 by now too.
@ JT
First, stop comparing yourself to prepubescents. I remember when I was young and had lots of free time. Those days are gone but I remember doing cooler things than playing video games endlessly.
Second, FPS games are bound to cause heart failure for anyone new to the game. Youre new, like it or not. New by a couple days, but see reason #1 why it may as well be 2 months later.
Just giving perspective.
You aren't banned yet?
4)quit playing free for all
After a few days I can say with certainty that I don't find the MP as fun as CoD4. I'm going to tough it out and stick with this game, but I will not have as much fun with it as I did with its predecessor. It did not meet my expectations.
You're dying a lot quicker?
The opposite. I can't find anybody half the time. I think the maps are too big and in some cases poorly designed. I think the guns don't feel near as good- just don't have that tight feeling. Every gun feels like the little rat-a-tat sub machine gun from Half Life 2.
I think the audio is mediocre. I think the over-abundance of unlocks and les and emblems and all that BS is aggravating. I think it sucks that a bunch of Halo s who never played CoD before, all of a sudden jumped on the bandwagon. I think the heartbeat sensor has absolutely ruined the gameplay of Search and Destroy. I just think it's not as fun.
I intend to keep playing. I'm slightly disappointed by the quality of the game.

I'm gonna wait till I've leveled up to like 50-60 before making any conclusions. But one thing I have noticed as well is the lack of recoil. Not sure if it's just me.
no ...I ing hate those strikes where they just pick a person and have the bomb follow them...seems I'm always the one they pick. Also, I ing hate team deathmatch on this one for some reason. I suck at Teams but do great in free for all...my callsign is "Lone Wolf" because of that..lol
That's ing epic...craziest thing that's happened to me so far was when I was playing my cousin and he ordered a care package...he waited right over by where he called it, and the package dropped right on top of him and killed him...lmao..
I died by a knife throw kinda like that - it was just stupid. It was the airport level and he threw a knife while blinded and prone, over many plants and obstacles, and it killed me while I was prone like 50 feet away. It even looked like it bounced into me because the throw was slightly short.
I got really pissed off by a death yesterday. This guy is charging me with no ammo...I waste his ass with the SCAR, 3/4 of a clip including a headshot, and he charges me. He goes down in last stand about 10 feet in front of me, and tries to knife me...he doesn't throw his knife, just a swing. Somehow, it hits me, even though there's no way in he's close enough. Pissed me off..I was on a kill streak.
Idk if it helps that I'm playing a legit copy of MW2 cuz the guy I was going to buy a copy from works some crazy ass graveyard shift job and was always sleeping when I was available to come buy a copy from him.
I like how MW2 doesn't seem like that frag fest that COD 4 was. Most likely due to Martyrdom not being droped by everyone every time they die and the maps being bigger.
Oh my God..if that was me, I would have been so pissed off...
Yeah...I didn't think about that...it was completely lame though...pissed me off.He MIGHT of had commando perk which allows you to knife a lot further. I was knifed AROUND a wall before.... lame.
Tactical nuke....crazy ...
Doesn't matter. Most of the reason that a game like MW stayed fun for me for so long (and continues to do so) is because I can join a dedicated server and game with people I know and enjoy spending time fragging and getting fragged by.
I just don't see putting many hours into a game where every time I play the people either have to be friends of mine or random individuals I might never see again.
Yes, the situation pisses me off as well, but realistically I won't enjoy it nearly as much without the community aspect. I love killing people on my friends list too, and it's just obviously not the same kind of experience anymore.
There are already hacks for the PC, and if IW isn't extremely careful, the PC version will soon be overrun with said hacks. Without admins to watch the servers, it could be a pretty dire situation soon, yet another reason I'm not so enthusiastic about the game.
Exactly. Why I will continue to play WaW on friendly servers. If I wanna play with a bunch of random people who glitch and chamm I'll play AVA
I'd also like to point out that it's not something you can really understand unless you've actually DONE it. I do think z0sa has been a part of a PC community in the past, so perhaps he can chime in here, but there's absolutely NO replacement for logging on to a server 5-6 times a week and seeing old friends as well as a few newcomers.
I STILL talk to people from back in the 1.6 days, back when I played on Server From /Maps From . And the Chicago War Zone server from even farther back.
I definitely keep in touch with the people on my CoD4 server. It just adds an element of fun that is absolutely impossible to match up with this ridiculous random crap. Sure, you can have a friends list 200 people long, but how about when you want to just game with a bunch of them without having to set it up? Dedicated servers make that happen. I log in, get 5-6 people saying "Hi!" and happy to see you -- it's just an awesome feeling to be known/respected on a server you frequent. And even feared, at times. There is simply no replacement for that. None.
I completely understand havoc... I played Quake/Quake 3 pretty competatively back in the day and if you can't have passworded dedicAted servers you can't build community or set the skill level high enough to make games interesting.
I'm a team deathmatch guy... How do you have neutral servers without someone having a 0 ping?
Clan wars???
Pretty stupid .
I'm not nearly as competatively as I was and have sold out to just play with real life friends on console (which was a huge transition considering I felt like a world destroyer with a mouse back in the day)... But what they have done to y'all really bugs me... That and party chat on xbox... But everyone else... My friends and I just mute everyone but friends on profile options and talk about whatever we want... They can mute us if they want to...
