I think people just complain because he isn't playing for their team.

Culburn does it because it's fun for him to diminish other people's skill and he feels he is smart enough to come up with reasons to diminish these players. Although he can't back them with any hard evidence or stats. That's just the way he is. Don't take it hard tho BRhornet, he doesn't like Michael Jordan and Lebron James either, so CP3 is in good company. Being ragged on by CUlby is a compliment, he only does it to boys he likes.

As for the dallas fans, they complain cuz he's the mavs killer, and their still pissed they didn't get kobe for dirk. And think about it BR, is there really any other franchise mavs fans can make fun of? Miami kicked their ass, Lakers won more rings than them, SA, they might have beat a few times, but SA still won more rings than them.

As for spurs fans, when NO brought them to the brink of elimination to game 7, there was all respect for CP3 and NO, but now well... It's called fake spurs classyness. This is similar to Kobe's fake good guy personality... Only classy when they win...

As for the rest of the league's fans, they seem to be all ok with it, the few that aren't are just probably bored and want to troll.

In my opinion it depends on the style of offense you want to run. On certain teams Paul would be better and on others Williams is a better fit.

I also agree that you can't judge these 2 by stats alone. Cp's stats are prolly always gunna be a little higher, b/c he has less around him and has to do more.

With that being said, Stats don't lie. People saying D-will is the better scorer are wrong. The stats back that up. Paul does score more w/ better percentages, not to mention the defenses will give Paul more of their attention than Williams, seeing as Williams has more scorers and better players around him. However, Neither of their teams are off to good starts w/ Nola being 3-6 and Utah being 3-5.

It would also help D-will's case on this board if it weren't so bias, as well as stupid. People hate CP3 in this board, whatever...... The people on here that hate him a lot usually let that get in the way of an educated arguement(I hate CP3 b/c he is a classless, nut puncher and D-will isn't type of bull ). If you like williams better, thats cool, To each his own. But think of a VALID reason to bash Paul if you MUST.

I agree the reasons refuted by the OP aren't valid motives to dislike Paul. However, even though I like Paul and consider him a top-2 PG in the league with the 3rd at a sizeable distance, I don't consider him the best PG in the NBA: too ball dominant (the comparison to Isiah is very proper, but Thomas was forced to share the load with Dumars) and too small to be a good defender.

Agree with Celts fan here ...he is top PG but I do think DWill's game is better suited to play in multiple offenses ...CP3 NEEDS the ballin his hadns to be effective that is no disrespect to paul I think if he had more help he would be even more effective BUT that person can not be a Kobe a Roy etc that needs the ball as well Dwill could mesh with any offense ...or player.
