Against Dallas I thought Pop managed the minutes very well, Bogans/Manu/Jefferson are getting the big minutes which will lead to finley playing 6/7 minutes a night which is perfect for a player like him, as for Bonner he was playing well early on so he earned play time.

Also it's nice to see the points being distributed like this, nobody has the burden of carrying the teams offensive load like TD and TP last year.

@ posters who were saying RJ was the worst offseason move.

Remember though that last season we had 6 guys in dbl figures at one point in the season. Duncan/Parker/Mason Jr./Manu/Finley/Hill and Bonner was high up there to with 8ppg and we were barely getting by teams. Remember back when we only had 3 and in rare seasons 4 dbl figure scorers and we were killing teams? that is what we want to get back to, Defense first with a much more explosive offense.

I rather Finley play big minutes if it means a healthy Manu for the games that matter.

no. I don't want Manu to wear himself out either but giving Finley big minutes would be a HUGE mistake. Instead of giving Finley lots of minutes how about splitting that time up among guys like Hairston, Hill, or Bogans...you know guys that can actually play defense.

That also means no one scored more than 20. But I think it's a good thing.

I don't care who averages what, as long as Spurs defense reestablishes itself.

    Parker 19ppg
    Duncan 18ppg
    RJ 15 ppg
    Manu 15 ppg
Mcdyess/Bogans/Hill/Bonner avg 6-9 pts pergame Thats what I figure, by seasons end.
