Ginobilis will have twins
By Jeff McDonald - Express-News
It turns out the recent baby talk was twice as nice for Manu Ginobili. The Spurs guard said Friday he and his wife, Many, are expecting not one new addition, but two.
Many Ginobili is pregnant with twins.
“We're very excited, of course, very happy,” Ginobili said, a day after announcing the pregnancy on his Twitter page. “We've been looking forward to it for a while.”
Ginobili's wife is due in June, and is not yet far enough along for the couple to know the sexes of the children. It will be the first offspring for the Ginobilis, who were married in summer 2004.
News that he was going to be a father to twins caught Ginobili by surprise.
“We don't know what we got into,” Ginobili said, “but I guess it's going to be fun.”
Ginobili is eager to enter into fatherhood, even though he knows it will mean a drastic lifestyle change for the self-professed night owl.
“I've heard that quite a bit these last couple of days,” Ginobili said, “but I'm ready for the challenge.”
All-Stars practice: Injured stars Tony Parker and Tim Duncan both participated in Friday's practice, bringing them one step closer to returning to the court.
The All-Star pair missed the Spurs' past two games, victories over Toronto and Dallas, with left ankle injuries.
Both players are considered questionable to play against Oklahoma City, although coach Gregg Popovich said he expects at least one of them to return.
45 Jump Street: Rookie forward DeJuan Blair earned the first start of his career Wednesday against Dallas. Duncan's status will likely determine whether he gets another one against Oklahoma City.
Blair finished with three points and six rebounds in 20 minutes, but it was what he did in the first moments of the game that impressed his teammates. Blair, 6-foot-7, won the opening tip against 6-foot-11 Erick Dampier.
Jumping center wasn't new for the undersized Blair, who typically handled the chore during his final college season at Pittsburgh.
“I usually didn't win it,” Blair said. “I think I was lucky to win it this time.”
Westbrook to play: Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook, who left Thursday's win over the Clippers with a left ankle sprain, is expected to start against the Spurs. The second-year player is averaging 15 points and 7.3 assists this season, but is coming off a 1-for-11 clunker.

Ginobili with the 'and 1'.
Also, to a more inspired Ginobili![]()
Photoshops in 3,2,...
Congrats on the new arrivals. But twins! I had enough trouble just handling one. Well Manu will be on the road alot so Many will be left to fend for herself.
Ginobliiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Ginobliiiiiiiiiiiiiii
what happens when you are resting trying to get healthy
Manu is one of those players that can penetrate and finish at will, even when contested.
That sounds more like Kobe.
Touché!
At least it's more productive than posting on Facebook
Tony Parker o ! Ask me your questions and I’ll answer next week. Talk to you later !!!

Well played.
Congrats Manu and wife
, I remember those words "Will you act like a normal human being"... Manu goes for two, classic![]()
Congrats to Manu and Many. I'm so excited for them and can't wait to see the pictures. I can see it now two hyperactive little kids running around. They're going to need all the luck that they can get. It's interesting how all the Spurs wives seem to have all their babies during the playoffs. Of course we have Tim, Bruce, and Brent having theirs around that time and I think even Speedy's wife was in labor the night we won it all in '03. So far it's been good luck for our championships when one of the wives is pregnant so hopefully it'll bring us good luck again
. I'm wondering how it'll affect his decision with playing for the NT this summer now and maybe even calling it quits.
I guess it comes that natural to him.
haha very nice...
Congratulations.
