I think the point was, that we didn't need another post player out there with duncan, but rather we needed a rebounder and defender, and blair just was not doing that.
He still shoots a pretty high percentage, and I know his defense his spotty, but shouldn't he be deserving of more minutes?
I wasn't awfully impressed with his rebounding in this game, however, he still deserves more playing time.

McDyess needs to start.
Maybe. I keep hoping that Blair will be a 20+ minute bigman for us. If that is going to happen, I don't care if he starts or not.
I don't really know why we are not starting dice. Maybe pop is trying to motivate blair? Benching his ass for most of the game is a definite message.
Blair is not very good on defense, especially at stopping people going to the rim. He attempts alot of blocks but I haven't seen him get very many of them. Also he has a bad habit of starting the other team's fast break by tapping the ball to their guards.
I was not able to watch the game.
Was blair that obviously bad on d?
He really did not do his job (in rebounding).
I was pretty disappointed to see so few minutes for him.
Mcdyess needs to start but not this early in the season.
For Pop, it's a rookie thing or something, no matter what you are. Simple.
Rebounding may be a bit like shooting -- you do things the right way and over time the stats will be there.
Blair didn't get many rebounds last night but he looked great going at it under the boards. I've seen Blair look more like a rebounder trying to get one that most couldn't even come close to, than Bonner having one fall in his lap because no one else was around.
