I don't think it would be a great fit for spacing issues. But overall, pretty good deal. I think Miami should trade for him. Pair him and Wade up. I know there will be some spacing issues there as well, but damn, that would be an athletic back court.

If I am the Mavs, I do this in an instant! Getting rid of 'Stupid Head' can only improve a team. Adding a player of Monta's caliber wouldn't hurt either.

I don't see why GSW does this, except to get rid of a malcontent and perhaps replacing the so called versatility of S-Jax for Nelly's moronic system. I guess one 'Stupid Head' deserves another...

As far as Monta, if the Mavs are trading 1 'stupid head' for another, than I would be against this as well. But even Josh 'Stupid Head' Howard had a honeymoon with the Mavs, maybe they could take advantage of that with Ellis.

Ellis is the far better player, younger, less injury-prone. You pull the trigger on that ASAP if you're Dallas, but I think the Warriors could get better value.

Howard is so injury prone why would any team wanna take a chance on him? Dallas would have to get 40 cents on the dollar when it involves Howard at this point.
