Manu would beat all of Jerry Rice's records if he was in the NFL..
Manu would beat all of Jerry Rice's records if he was in the NFL..
If he suits up now he can help them beat the Lions in Sunday's Toilet Bowl.
I think he could. I don't know if he would be as much as a standout as he is in basketball, but it's undeniable that he's physically a freak of nature.
Sure, I'd love to see him get knocked out by Ray Lewis.
"James was an All-Ohio wide receiver at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School before quitting football after his junior year to focus on basketball".
All-Ohio![]()
That pretty boy wouldn't last one minute going across the middle.
He definitely could talent-wise..but like Senor said, he wouldn't last physically..
Lebron missed like 6 straight games a few years ago with a minor finger injury LOL..
they say every single play in the NFL is like being in a 30MPH car crash..
You know, I like LeBron. But he's really making a strong case for me not to anymore.
That being said, Parker would be an awesome corner back. Also, Blair would make for an interesting defensive end; I bet no one would even dare stiff-arm him.
LOL imagine Tony in the NFL..
Marcus Pollard had a 13 year NFL career and didn't play college football. He played basketball at Bradley. He had a very good NFL career without playing any college football. And, Marcus Pollard isn't anywhere the athletic freak LeBron is. It's not as outlandish a comment as you think. Football isn't the skill required sport baseball is. LeBron already has the tools to be an effective football player, running, jumping, strength, agility, catching the ball (if he were to be a WR or TE). LeBron might be crazy but his comment here isn't far fetched at all.
With his speed and size and hands, LeBron would have been the greatest TE in league history.
LeBron's an incredible athlete. Why not? He's probably a better, faster athlete than Tony Gonzalez and he's 3 inches taller. Unless you've seen LeBron play football, I'm not sure how you could discount his potential.
he couldnt handle blocking the majority of the game, mentally or physically
all state at a private ohio school is like being first team all san antonio, good job, now try to play in college
Team him up with Tony Romo and COwboys go 0-17
shaq would eat him for lunch in football
Corso says so!
Corso says mookie don't know what he don't know.
Hey, BTW, has anyone ever seen the football highlights of Iverson when he was in High School? QB, DB, Kick Returner. That guy could play.
The size of the pond doesn't automatically disqualify the trophy fish. Shaq was All State at a 2A HS in San Antonio, and he made the big time.
^ ^ Yup, and it was Vick-like; no dogs were harmed in the process though.
There's no doubt that he's talented enough and skilled enough. I just think the prospect of him returning to a sport, where you are colliding every play with bodies, would get old to him really fast.
Besides all that, he'll make more $$$ in roundball, than he ever could in football.
LeBron is an excellent athlete and superior primma donna. Primma donna's don't like to get hit.

yeah he could probably be a damn good WR in the NFL. he's 6'8" yet manages to still be quick and explosive.
