Stop complaining about back to backs. We have like only 16 compared to the league average of 18. The early part of the season is a bit ed up and I wish we had 2 or 3 more games in the middle of these sudden breaks, but it is what it is.
I agree TD...it's the worst of both worlds. YES we get to rest our 'gimps but the oldies RUST and then it ends up that we have so many damn back-to-backs that we drop every single one of them. Can't we have a straight schedule?

I'm leaving to Cancun at 5:00 am.
Gonna p-a-r-t-y with my spouse. Good times.
Go Spurs! Hope I can see it in Mexico.![]()
I hope another step in the right direction for Spurs tonight...Hail the Spurs D.
Alright! Lets get back to kicking butt!
Go Spurs!
I think the game thread needs to be renamed to 11/18. It reads as 11/17 by mistake
THanks for stating the obvious. Deck is just very creative and informative when he does it thats all. Compare it to watching highlights from different stations or sites. Some are better then others. In the end, it doesn't matter. I just prefer grilled cheese over plain bread.
Deck wouldn't have made this mistake![]()
Mavs may be without top wing players

DALLAS -- It's unlikely that Shawn Marion will play Wednesday night against the San Antonio Spurs because of a sprained left ankle.
Marion told reporters after Wednesday morning's shootaround that he wouldn't have been able to play at that moment. He'll continue to get treatment on the ankle, which he sprained in the first quarter of Monday's win over the Milwaukee Bucks.
If Marion can't play, the Mavs would be without their top two wing players. Josh Howard (rehab from ankle surgery) remains out indefinitely.
Quinton Ross, a defensive-minded player with a limited offensive game, would likely start at small forward if Marion can't play.
That makes the Spurs an extremely tough matchup with Manu Ginobili and Richard Jefferson. Mavs rookie Rodrigue Beaubois has been excellent as a fill-in starting shooting guard, but coach Rick Carlisle has kept him in a limited role.

Let's Go Spurs! Mavs got no Marion, Howard or Dampier and we got all our players, unlike last time. We can get this.
Haha, it would be ironic if the Mavs win though. We win in San Antonio while Mavs have all their players and the Spurs don't, then they win in Dalls while the Spurs have all the players and the Mavs don't.
The Mavs will just mail it in since they are missing some of their key guys. I hope the Spurs bring the energy and take an early lead so the reserves can get some burn.
hmm as long as spurs get out to a quick start this will be over soon. Hope pop doesnt try something new/weird and make it tough on ourselves. This win would be good, 4-4 is not too nice.
not likely. Remember, the game is in their house..
Aaahh! I think I might have to buy a new away jersey for those games. I normally wear Manu's road jersey, but am starting to think it is cursed. Although he normally is one of the best road warriors, when healthy.
I am thinking that a Hill or Blair jersey might fit the bill and give the Spurs a few extra dollars this year. I assume the teams get some revenue from the jersey sales, right?
If the Spurs manage to lose this one.. oh what will Spurs fans do
I dont care if we lose but if we lose by just having no effort on the court then ima have me a good ol meltdown![]()
unfortunately i think this game is going to be a lot closer than last time
we didnt have TP and TD last time but i think that unit had more chemistry with each other than TD/TP in the lineup. we're obviously better off long-term with all of our guys healthy, but we're still in a team trying to figure things out
hopefully some of that starts to come together tonight
Its always sweet to get a W in Dallas. hopefully this one goes the way of the spurs. this week the mavs are the ones hurting, itll suck if the mavs still one as the spurs did last week.
Go spurs Go 107- mavs94
So they beat us without TD and Parker..now they're without Marion and Howard..bad sign?..
I'm going to bed.
time zones. Please keep all the meltdown stuff in one thread aswell, it's depressing.
No Marion and No Damp and No Josh Howard. The Mavs are really short handed. So that means they will play just like the Spurs did against the Mavs 2 weeks ago.
Should be a much different game in the form of pace and scoring given that the Mavs are not on a B2b and the Spurs are rested. First one to 95 will win this game.
friendly bet (just bragging rights) with my coworkers. I got spurs winning by 4.
coworker 1: Spurs by 6
Coworker 2: Mavs by 4
Coworker 3: mavs by 1
All of us are Spurs fans btw. We just call it how we see it.
I'm gonna go with Spurs blowout or Mavs win..I'm gonna go with Spurs blowout though, but wouldn't be surprised if Mavs played with more urgency and intensity, even though they don't really have those types of players..
