Fine, I'll give you a real answer. The colored screen names weren't something that we individually set, the admins just did it for certain teams that have a lot of fans that post here. They didn't color code every fan base and I don't think they have plans to. PM Kori or Timvp if it's really that important to you to have a green screen name. It would make it easier to ignore your posts if you were color coded, anyway.

You got a ways to go, son. There are some excellent regulars here who are yet to get their black handle.

It seems like fans of other teams who've been here a while can get their colours, but how the black is handed out to Spurs fans is a mystery. Obviously regular contributors over many years, and those who have helped the site get their black, but beyond that I have no idea of the criteria. I think LJ has a secret algorhythm that he applies when the servers go down...

I sent a PM to Timvp about 300 posts ago and Kori about 200 posts ago to see if I was ready for the bold. As you can see, I apparently am not. Eh. I have no idea why. Neither admin has ever sent me a PM back explaining it one way or the other. I also put my name in that silly "add your color" thread we had at the beginning of the summer. My point is, with this board, don't hold your breath when it comes to the admins changing (upgrading) your colors. As long as I get mine before Cubby, all is well.

The names get colored at timvp's convenience once a year or so. It's not an on-demand feature.
