When your best players start getting older, it's natural..we're watching the end of the Spurs, which is something that was obviously inevitable..hopefully the guys can man up and give us a great season, but the odds are against it..
Injuries...
Always waiting on someone to return to the team...
Never having a team at full force...

agreed this teams core is old and those nagging injures are starting to pile up
calm down.
too early to panic but it's hard to ignore the warning signs just like last season when parker and ginobili went down during the same period.
I'm not "jumping" or "panicking"..I'm always a die-hard, everybody here can back me up..
We have the NBA RECORD for most consecutive 50-win seasons(if you include the lockout)..that speaks on the dominance and longevity of this team..at some point, it's all going to end in regards to winning les..
The NBA is a superstar's league..our superstar is 34 years old, his prime was a long time ago..we all knew this was coming, this is life..
this might not be the end, but the possibility of the end is something REAL, and a lot of people here haven't accepted the possibility..
Lol Harlem is in full cut the wrists mode. With the river not against sunshine...
Tony is the one who has missed the most time and he's hardly old.
I agree that Manu's injury makes me skeptical about whether he 's worth keeping. But we need to trade him for someone quality. SJax would be a relatively decent trade and he could start, and he is durable and played his best ball when he was with Tim.
how?!..
are you disagreeing that we're closer to the end?..clearly that's the case..
x 1000
welcome to our world
thats such a cute kitty
Spot on thread...except we will be lucky to make the playoffs with all these injuries...
Spurs will make the playoffs...but which seed??? Time will tell...
these recurring injuries will only plague the spurs this season. this is not good for an ageing team. will it cost the spurs a playoff birth or give them a bad seed?
The injuries talk is a bit overblown. Dallas has three injured players. Are they too old? Or do these things just happen during the course of a season?
No...they are just a better and deeper team.
Ginobili leaving the bench and not supporting the guys was a something to keep in mind.
