I wasn't.
We competed, dallas hit some big shots
good game
Effort was there
Mason sucked
I wasn't.
Duncan fan still here.
The Big German is a licensed Spurs killer.
If the Spurs play like this, we're still getting to the playoffs. Was I the only one pleased with the effort? It wasn't a blowout of any sort.. like Chicago.. Portland.. Utah
It's true...he'll choke 99% of the time...but dude continues to wreck shop against SA...
I'm used to it. I remember in game 5 in 2005, Tim missing the potential put back game winner and really being shaken after it.
That's why I don't get mad when Timmy's the only one there to carry the team, like in today's game .
Tony and Manu helped mask that aspect to Tim's "failed" put backs, and his occasional two foot misses.
His ratio of makes to misses is usually in our favor in spite of the weak sauce. People forget he made clutch FT's today to at least give us a chance. Just like in that Game 5.
Standing around and waiting for TD to win the game? Hill waiting for the players to come up court and set the play when he has the ability to attack tie irm and doesn't? I understand this is a work in progress but we need some practice time or something. This is ugly and very frustating to watch. This team sometimes has no idea where anyone is on the floor is at times. RJ needs to pay attention and get eye contact before passing the rock. This one was there for the taking and we didn't execute. As time goes on hopefully this will start to dimish but I need to see that happening before I'm hopeful.
I'm not a happy camper right now.
But it is early and there is time ot adjust. No Manu and Tony and we lose in OT. I believe things will get better.
It's a long season.
Believe!
Not taking this loss too hard. We fought well in their building and it's still so early in the season.
Guess he wanted to just get the game over so he can hit the wine.
The two Spurs that are out a better than those 3 Mavs.
Yeah, but it wasn't just the chip shot. He tossed up two absolutely horrible shots with DIRK guarding him after that miss. If Tim can't score on Dirk I don't know who he can score on consistently.
His numbers were great, rebounding was great, defense was fantastic in the 2nd half, and he made great passes. However, his post offense was horrendous tonight. No excuse for letting Drew Gooden and Dirk lock him down.
Don't come into the thread after the game.
LAME ing got fan. You should have been in here during the game.
This is going to sting for a while, but that's how it is sometimes.![]()
man listen up yet again. Like i have been saying tim is not in form yet.
Stop ing bagging on td. He is in good shape and his game is coming back to him. You can't expect him to have it all going yet.
Tough loss but a good loss. Defense was damn good at the end of the 4th on nowitzki. A typical early in the season spurs loss.
how many more freethrows did the spurs have over the mavs?
Anyone calling out TD tonight is a re . Plain and simple, more simple than plain.
he just sit there and let bonner get torch and abuse
I was.
Enjoy your post game tacos.
This is totally different considering the opponent, this wasn't only a L on the board but an L mentally for the players.
LMAO spurmz fanz.
Better D on the road, so that was a good thing to see. Offensively, the team still seem disjointed. Looked like Gooden had a message to deliver and played well offensively and grabbed some athletic boards. Shame they didn't pull it out, but it still seems like progress on the Defense.
And hey, I got to see some Hairston out there!
Despite some of Duncan's weak finishes he played well. Almost carried us to a win. Only thing that bugs me is that he gets no respect from the refs.
Jefferson was disappointing. I expected to see more urgency from him. He's definitely not worth his salary.
Mason is absolutely horrible. I don't know what happened to him over the off-season. Maybe the news that he was almost traded during the summer shook him up and he's resigned himself to put no more effort into the team. I'm still hoping we can package him in a trade.
nevertheless that was the indisupted tipping point of tonight's game.
