Only player from Duke I could ever accept rooting for. Loved watching him in his prime. Damn shame about those injuries that stole several prime years of a certain HoF career. Glad he's on the Suns, but I still would have liked to see him go to Boston for a chance at a ring.
Grant Hill is a legend, I always have respect for this guy, no matter where he plays. He rocks.

Not exactly the same situations, but as a Phoenix fan I harbored a lot of resentment towards Penny Hardaway, both from the lack of games played due to injury, but also because he always seemed to play just enough to keep the Suns from voiding his deal.
While Hill gave it everything he had to get back on the court, and while his at ude was always one of utmost class and respect, I'm sure there are some Magic fans that still begrudge him for failing to live up to his contract, even though such was entirely due to injury.
That's about the only situation I can see anyone not liking Hill as a person and player.

I find it amazing that Grant Hill with almost 55 years old nowadays looks slimmer and more nimble than in his rookie season. The Suns' training staff is amazing.
