Only dumbasses who haven't really been paying attention blindly hang on to this claim. Dirk's D is actually not average as it has been in recent years, but actually surprisingly quite good this year. He's playing great help defense, coming over for blocks, good rotations, etc.They do overrate their players pretty hard, Josh Howard is nothing special and i bet most teams wouldn't take this guy healthy or not. Jacks up way too many 3's and can't make much of them either especially in the playoffs.
