you buddy
It may sound a bit far fetched but I see several positives to this:
1. being the defensive presence that he was I think it could help really help our bigs and develop an overall defensive mindset throughout the team...
2. He could specifically remind & show Baby Drew how to be relentless on the boards. I think he could even teach Pau a thing or two
3. He could challenge the players in practice
4. I think just his presence on the sidelines could give the Lakers a mental advantage over opponents
They just don't make em like this cat anymore....hard as they come..
With his playing and current coaching experience Ridiculous upside indeed:

you buddy
are u crazy. we have 8 times as much going on around this team than any other team, last thing we need is another distraction to talk about
chris richards i thought u said if the lakers won last night u would never post again
i said ill do it, if someone placed a wager on me. but no laker fan had the balls to do it.
plus i was partly right, kobe did ball hogged his way (7/21 shooting) lucky for him the real MVP (Gasol) showed up.
Why are you posting? Did you not say you would ban yourself if the Lakers won yesterday? Or was that bull like all your other posts?
don't fall into the distraction trap that the media has laid out for you...it's L.A where distractions are handled effectively...you see we're not ing Houston, SA, Dallas, or Miami or any of those other pansy , bible belt, choir boy, suck yo mama ty cities...that can't handle a little stress or attention for that matter...we can handle it...and for the record we have nothing negative going on...don't believe all that fake ass media hype..Lakers are fine...Rodman would be the on the sidelines...and a decent basketball Mentor to Bynum...
BULL ! You never said that.
Don't see anything about a wager in that post.
Yet another pussy who won't man up to his own BS like Tlong...
ALL TALK NO WALK
I'd prefer that ass sphincterto stay around...and self destruct as Lakers kick ass this year....
People shouldn't assume one could teach something by virtue of having once been able to do that thing, especially when that person's selfishness and erratic nature are the stuff of legend. Adding a deadly-serious drinking problem to the mix doesn't help the math much, either.
But don't get me wrong, as a Spurs fan, I think this is a capital idea.![]()
I'm sure with the Spurs record and current season forecast ...there's not much that wouldn't be a capital idea...![]()
Dennis Rodman's one of the smartest basketball players ever and would probably make an excellent coach, if he cared to.
I agree with the first half of your statement, but his alcoholism has shut the door on any future contribution to the game, unfortunately.
True, but some things would be more capital than others, I guess![]()
commit suicide.
just more Jordan jock riding.
you see, Ron Artest is this generation's... DENNIS RODMAN.
Dennis Rodman, in 1995, was a crazy defensive specialist nutjob with off the court issues. Jordan and the Bulls recruited him anyway and ran the table. The media went all "If you have the right alpha male, you can keep guys like Dennis in line. Jordan is a great leader"
so what does Kobe do?
"HAY MITCH, GETZ ME ARTEST OK? I NEEDZ TO COMPLETEZ MY COPY OF JORDAN CAREERZ"
So, after doing a e Lee joint, he's on to the next phase of his Jordan plan.
Win rings with Artest.
but...
HE COULD USE SOME ADVICE! So, this might trigger Kobe to get the Lakers to sign Rodman as a coach. Bring him in here. Let's get him to tell us how they did it, how MJ and the Bulls did it!
Kobe is a punk.
I don't know, Heater, Kobe might have been able to set the template for Jordan. Afterall, Bryant is to 4 rings younger than Jordan. Ruh, roh.
Kobe Bryant :
currently playing 14th season
1 Finals MVP
1 League MVP
0 Defensive player of the Year
Michael Jordan
After 13 seasons, retired as a Bull
6 Finals MVP
5 League MVP
1 Defensive player of the Year
ruh roh
Poor Rambis stuck up in Minny with that team. Wish the Lakers could get him back.
lol pwned![]()
Why are you still here?
You are not a man of your word?
Go figure...
hey, just because someone is good, doesn't mean they are good at teaching it.
michael jordan comes to mind. . .
Ron Artest has huge man crush on Kobe. He's the one who wanted to play with Kobe, not the other way around.
e Lee was also the one who approached Kobe for the "Kobe doin' work" gig.
How you can turn a thread talking about Dennis Rodman into how much of a punk Kobe Bryant is, is nothing short of astonishing.
All well & good. But, I aspire to The Spisak Manifesto= 1. make the playoffs. 2. win the last game you play. There is nothing else.
Taking that into account, Kobe has his 4 rings younger than Jordan did. & should he get two more afore he takes up the rocking chair? Woe be to you.
Let us proceed...
