Raptors forward Chris Bosh doesn't understand why he doesn't get as much attention as some of the NBA's other stars.
"Every day I turn on the TV and they're talking about guys, especially my draft class, '03 draft class, and this and that," he said. "They keep bringing up all these and I never hear my name, unless I'm like second honorable mention or something like that. I got tired of that.
"I don't even think people know I've made all-star teams or know what I've done in this league."
Bosh is averaging 26.8 points and 12.3 rebounds this season.
He ranks seventh in scoring and second in rebounding.
"I always thought of myself as a good basketball player, but after a while I really wanted to turn the corner. I looked at all the other guys who are considered top guys and I was tired of not having my name mentioned," he added.
"I wanted to do the necessary work to make sure I put myself in a situation to be successful."

Again, this is what happens when you are a product of idiot Sam Mitc and Jay Triano's system. It is like Mike D'antoni's system, but much worse.
I am not familiar with the coaching style but it could be a reason. The Raptors collectively are very poor defensively indeed so it may not be a coincidence.

you cant put all the blame on the coaches when the team is full of defenders
the best defender in the starting 5 is the rookie, and you have calderon who lets his man drive past him at will, and then you have a terrible help defender in bargnani protecting the hoop, while bosh is mediocre at best...
Until this thread, I didn't know he was a 4x all-star or Gold Medal Olympian. He already has good accolades and he's only 25, people just aren't talking about them or him. Sounds like he does need to gtfo of Canada...perhaps we send Bonner back there for him?
Your team needs some personnel changes if you want to smell the playoffs. Your offense is number 1 in the league, I believe. But the defense is . I cannot believe DeRozan's hype yet. He needs to show it.
