Dallas was leading 82-81 going into the fourth. Monster comeback from Dirk and the Mavs erasing that -1 point deficit to a Suns team missing its only bigman.

I agree. It would have been nice to have Dirk there, but I also think that Dirk gives a about a TNT trophy.

Dallas was up 15 in the first quarter, and after a flurry of 3-pointers by Tim Thomas, the Suns were up 77-70 late in the 3rd Quarter, a 22-point swing. Avery called a timeout and Dallas (almost all by Dirk) quickly scored 7 points to tie it back up. It was absolutely a comeback when it looked like the momentum in the game had swung to Phoenix.
I don't have one iota of respect for Kenny Smith or Charles Barkley for their basketball opinions. They ripped Dirk to shreds for his boilerplate comments in the Denver series last year when he said some nice things about the Birdman and Kenyon Martin. Nevermind he was lighting those guys up. They also ripped him for letting David West tap him on the cheek. Nevermind he lit up West. Kenny Smith is also the guy that called Dirk a "non-rebounding 7-footer." Nevermind he averages 9 boards a game for his career and 11 per game in the playoffs for his career.
